Breakfast is normally my biggest meal of the day, followed closely by lunch. Never really been a big dinner eater.
Is it ok to skip dinner or at least just have a small snack at dinner time if I already meet my daily calorie goals throughout the rest of the day?
Is there any negative side effects of doing this?

Meal timing doesn't matter for weight loss. Break up your daily allotment however you like.0 -
No negative side effects as far as weight loss goes. I would recommend at least a small snack so you don't go that long without eating. Well, I get weak/sick if I go too long without eating, maybe not you.0

yeah. especially if you're trying to lose weight. my breakfast is usually my heaviest meal too and i have lunch after my work out. if i feel hungry later i just have fruit. worked out pretty well for me0

I say if you feel happy and healthy on it, good for you. I know some people who live on 1-2 meals a day, hit their calories and are in high spirits all day long, have energy etc.
And then you have people like me, if I don't eat on a 2-3 hour basis, I do this really cute thing where I get all pale, and shaky, and sketchy looking and by like hour 5, pass out.
It's really all about what your body needs, what's healthy for you, and what you're comfortable doing.0 -

A nutritionist is NOT an expert... Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. A dietitian is a different story.0 -

^THIS. However, my Personal Fitness & Wellness coach says that dinner is too much, while a lite snack is wise. I do both, depending on how much time is left before I really should be in bed.0 -
I F, or intermittent fasting can actually be a good thing a couple of times a week. [5:2 Plan information]. Just don't throw your body into starvation mode -- no problem doing this if you skip a meal. Continue to drink water. If your blood sugar drops, that's another thing. Nephew, successful athletic trainer, is my source.0
