  • You're doing fine, just don't worry too much about the numbers. Especially since you're not gaining weight after enjoying yourself on the weekends...that is good! I have been stuck at the same weight for like 3 weeeks and I think I was eating too much sugar (Sniffles said I could be an addict  ) which I was. I was…
  • Hi guys, I'm apart of a group, but it doesn't hurt being apart of another. I like being motivated by others, especially when working out because it's so easy to fall of the wagon :grumble: My main need for motivation is diet...I HAVE to stick to it, otherwise, I will get nowhere :brokenheart:
  • I have a german short haired pointer and we also got him because my bf and I are active as well. They're medium sized: males are between 55-70 but it's all muscle, they are not big dogs. They are very high energy dog, though, so if you plan on running with them daily, you should be fine. Mine does not bark very much,…
  • mmm sounds good. I usually put feta in everything! :embarassed:
  • You guys are giving me good ideas! I'm going shopping onmy lunch hour so I can get snacks! I usually have: Wasa Crackers Fruit (banana or apples mainly) snack cheese steam fresh veggies (green giant) Fiber bars or low sugar protein bars veggies (cucumbers, sugar snap peas, etc)
  • I don't know exactly how to use them in foods either, but I just eat them with salt and lemon juice and I'm good to go.
  • You know what, that is SO funny because today I"m REALLY tired and I had coffee  :grumble: So, I'm thinking it's the sugar! The problem with me, too, is that I like sweets like sour patch kids and gummie stuff, so I'll buy a pack thinking, oh it's just this many calories, but I completely disregarded the sugar…
  • wow you look great! How did you do it?!:drinker:
  • Hi everyone, how's everyones day going? I weighed myself and I was 155.8, so like 2 pounds from yesterday (I know it fluctuates) but it feels good. I didn't go over 1300 calories and I didn't work out, so it feels good. Also, I cut WAY back on my sugar, so I think that helped, too :drinker: I didn't start my day off…
  • Way to go Tahmed! I know it's so easy to give into temptation...ESPECIALLY if it's been sitting at your desk, so I'm proud! AButler, yes we are back on the wagon and I'm happy for MFP because you girls are what keeps me motivated. I think my probablem has been my sugar intake...even though it's not always BAD sugar, but…
  • Hi all! How's everyone going?? I haven't been on here for awhile because I've been eating my extra 2 pounds I gained :grumble: OH well, back to the drawing board..sounds like others have been doing better...:flowerforyou:
  • Have a great time!! Have an extra drink for me :drinker:
  • Yes, stay positive! Just keep working out and eating right and you'll be fine, it just takes time. For instance, I have been working out for 3 weeks and have been stuck at the same weight :grumble: But I will stick with because I know it will come off! :smokin:
  • Yes, I have been measuring myself, but I've only REALLY been at this for like 3 weeks, so I can't be pleatuing, also I attend all kind of fitness classes, so I've been varying it up :grumble: I wont' get too discourage and will try to keep it up...it must come off eventually, right :drinker:
  • Something is better than nothing!! I wouldn't push yourself too far because your injured so be careful :)
  • It's up to you, but from what I hear, you should eat something half hour before you actually work out, so you'd have to get up at 4:00 AM  I wake up that early as well for my work out and I never eat anything before hand because there's no time and I usually do like a 6-7 mile run in the morning. I eat breakfast when…
  • Thanks Tahmed, plus I am lifting weights as well...so Maybe that's why  ?? Also I'm impressed that you can not exercise and stay within your calories, that would be tough for me! That's very motivating!
  • Nummy!!
  • Hi all. I weighed in and I'm at 155....AGAIN :grumble: :noway: :grumble: I have been at this weight for like 3 weeks now and can't shake it off. Yes, sometimes I don't eat as healthy, but I workout like no ones business! I just can't believe it! For example, this morning I ran 6 miles in 52 minutes, which is AMAZING for…
  • hi all! I will weigh in tomorrow since I forgot to today. I've been eating pretty good and exercising as well, so hopefully I'll go down!
  • calories not only depends on weight, but also heigt and activity level...so many people that are in their 150's are going to be different in their calorie intake than yourself.
  • wow, how often do you do this 1,000 calorie workout??
  • Good morning all, I hope everyone had a great weekend!! :flowerforyou: Unfortunately, I did not weigh in this morning, but plan on doing so tomorrow morning. I think I've been doing ok with eating and exercising...yesterday I went for a 6 mile run with the dog and plan on doing about 4 miles today with him (he's very…
  • Hi everyone how's everyone doing today?! I didn't work out this morning since I"m planning on going for a quick run with my dog this afternoon. We're going to do about 4 miles at a faster pace than normal so I can beat my own time. I weighed myself this morning and I was down about .2 pounds...so it sounds like I"m at…
  • Ok, sounds good. I don't go on here much on saturdays, as far as the community, but I will like to weigh in on Mondays, is that ok to keep up with?? Sorry, I don't wana join and make up my own ruls :embarassed: anyways, I'm super excited and hope that we can all stick together to stay motivated :drinker:
  • Hahah, that's funny, I do the same thing! :smokin: Some times I take myself too far and I have to sit back and realized that I NEED a break!! Our bodies need the time to recover, ya know, but if I don't work out, I feel lazy :frown: You're right ,this relationship is not working out...:grumble:
  • Hi, can I join?? I am also trying to lose weight and am working out and eating healthy. I am trying very hard, however, not to focus on the scale because I am lifting weights, so it's going to take a bit longer for it to come off for me (I know from experience for myself). I really do need the support, however,…

  • You should be fine, but do schedule rests. Also, you should be pushing yourself hard when you work out, but don't overwork yourself. Listen to your body and it it says to take a break, then take a break.
  • Yes, I def have this problem! OR I get hungry WAY too fast :( It's really ahrd to overcome this and it has been a battle!
