  • Negative Pushups. Start from the ground, arms bent and with your hips off the floor, core engaged. Use your arms to push you to the top of the push up. Even if you cant do one, it will help with strength in the full range of motion.
  • I have been maintaining for about 6 weeks now. My weight has fluctuated by about 2kgs, which is nothing in the scheme of things. I usually track at the beginning of the week, and by the weekend, I have stopped. No issues for me, because I am usually really good whilst at work as I pack my lunch and bring my own snacks.…
  • Yeah ive added in mostly carbs and a little protein, and these carbs have been from rice, powdered oats, sweet potato and some chocolate ;) Everything else has remained the same. Ill keep note of when it happens most, thanks!
  • ok here it goes.. I would buy cake batter, mix with the frosting, add water and eat it with a spoon. Usually a little and keep refilling my bowl. I would buy a large pizza hut pizza, garlic bread and 1L of coke and have it all in one sitting. I would have a large serve of mcdonalds every saturday when I was doing my…
  • Anything in the oven, and anything blended. Last night I had pork (already diced) in the oven with a greek yoghurt sauce and i blended up some steamed broccoli with cheese and milk. Took about 10 mins to prepare Less time to drive to maccas!
  • Why would you consider drinking it if it is something you dont enjoy? Life is too short for that :) I am sure you could find an alternative that has the electrolytes/benefits of coconut water.
  • Three Work ID photos. September 2011 October 2012 March 2014 :)
  • From my first glance, if you are logging correctly, eat more. You are working your butt off with exercise but are not eating your exercise calories back. Are you measuring everything?
  • Your diary doesn't seem to be open
  • Yep, I NET around 1200 calories a day. I was eating 1500 every day whether or not I was exercising or not and it was inconsistent. Then I bought a HRM, set my calories to 1300 (which is prescribed by MFP) and now eat back exercise calories to net 1200. I feel I have more energy as I am eating what my body requires for the…
  • I have set myself a budget of $50 for any one item of clothing (apart from special events), whether it be jeans, work clothes or weekend wear. I will buy clothes only to replace what no longer fits and then replace again when I need to. For example, my work pants started falling down, so I bought some new ones.. Every 10…

  • Thanks everyone! Really nice messages :) Lots of hard work has gone into it. Food choices have gotten the weight off and exercise has gotten me the shape I have wanted :)
  • Thank you :) I am 169cm, so 5'6.5 or so.. My calorie needs have changed quite a bit. I started at about 1800 and have played around with the number since. I havent been below 1400 calories because I am quite active every day. I will eat 200-300 more on my PT days. At 1500 at the moment, but thinking of dropping to 1450.
  • Of course! Send me a friend request  Good luck on your journey!
  • Thank you :) Lots of hard work and slow weeks and frustrations, but seeing how far I have come has made it all worth it
  • Sound similar to me! Im 5'6.5, 154lbs currently and looking to get down to about 135lbs.. will then reassess!
  • I have seen some awesome gym pants at www.fitnician.com Will probably get some of these at my next goal!
  • Hello! I am 27, 5'6.5 and have been doing IF for about 3 months and love it aswell. I am losing 3-4lbs a month. My protein is at 131g so I can fit in 75g of carbs and fat in as well. Id drop the protein a little and replace with LOTS of green vegies. I'll have my protein, fill my plate with vegies and then add fat on top…
