Yesterday, I had the Hershey's Dark Chocolate Bar, which was only 180 calories. Since I burned 300 calories, I was able to eat that and have a protein shake, to boot.

I don't think it suppresses appetite, but it reduces your stress level, which reduces nervous eating.

Would the recumbent bike work with with Wii Fit jogging and the remote in your pocket? It usually works by jogging in place.

I lost on it and gained double when I stopped. It sounds simplistic, but restricted cals and regular exercise are the only right way to lasting weight loss!

staying in tonight. putting in a big workout tomorrow, so I can stock up enough reserve calories to have 7 or 8 Grey Goose vodka and club sodas with lime:wink:

I'm doing EA Active and love it. The workouts are scheduled so I feel guilty if I miss a day and make it up. It kicks my butt every time, but I can still finish it. If I ever get to the point where its too easy, I might try p90x, but I'm doing 9 week on med level, so I have a ways to go.

When on the run, I usually do the Jared Subway thing for lunch and/or the Dunkin Donuts egg white flatbread. Also, bring a thermos of chocolate whey protein in simply smart fat free milk (its pretty filling).

I logged, did an hour and 15 mins of cardio, played video games with my nephew, ate in moderation during dinner and white knuckled my way through dessert.

good luck! MFP is the greatest thing since sliced bread, which I only eat if its whole grain. be honest with your food diary and stay motivated.

1200 seems really low, but if that is what's right for you its doable. 2 packets of no sugar added instant oatmeal for breakfast = 240 subway 6 inch turkey with veggies and red wine vinegar for lunch is 340 and any lean cuisine for dinner is 220-300. add an eskimo ice cream no sugar added and you're there with calories to…

Thank you all for the positive feedback! I also switched to healthier electronic cigarettes from the cancer sticks. I breathe so much better. I recommend them to anyone dealing with dual addictions ( food and cigarettes).
