skip the raw sugar and stick with skim milk. 2-3 oz of it is only 20-30 calories and it's got nutritional quality. You'll adapt to the new taste. It's amazing what we get used to.

hmmmm. I'm 23 and I tried to date an 18 year old when I was 21 and another when I was 22...and it did not work out. I think anything serious would have to be with an individual 21+. This year I've dated a 27 and 29 year old, and I did feel insecure about certain aspects, such as feeling like they probably thought I was…

Try doing crossfit or get into a martial art. You'll be getting fit, having fun, and making friends.

You're kind of an a-hole ain't ya?

Looking great! I would love to see how you look after the surgery. I've only lost 60 pounds and still have excess skin on my tummy and arms...Maybe someday I'll have it removed.

I work at a Panera Bread and we definitely have some healthy and unhealthy options. We have regulars who are fitness freaks and look lean as hell and we have regulars that look like they may keel over of a heart attack at any time. I have made it a habit to note what these "regulars" order - in fact I have been very…

I am 23 and I had my gallbladder removed 3 years ago. I was not yet on a healthy path and blew up to 215 pounds after the surgery. The next 6 months after the surgery were full of IBS...I had bad gas with almost anything I ate and had to go to the bathroom within minutes of a meal. I even had what felt like another…

I'm planning on following the Insanity program as closely as possible. Today was my first day and I didn't feel like the fit test was enough honestly, so I went out and ran 1.5 miles as well. Honestly, your schedule sounds awesome and I'm sure you'll see results from it. Good luck!

5'5.75 here. Current weight is around 155-158 and I think I will be good at around 140. I've got a lot of muscle mass ;]

I live in Kentucky and people say hi to each other all the time...I notice older runners/walkers say hi but not younger ones. I wish there was a little bit more comradery among us runners!

Still looking for buddies. I log everyday :]

Wide-stance squats?
-
hmmm when I use the squat rack I use it for about 20 minutes at time for squats and deadlifts, so I can understand why he may not want to just do a set in between yours. However, I strongly believe that when you're in the weight room you need to be using the equipment and not hogging it while talking on your phone or to…

I admit that I did not read the article, but I have been people watching since I started losing weight. What I've noticed is that thin people seem to have a much easier time simply not eating when they are not hungry, and stopping when they are full. Obese people seem to eat much more often. This is NOT a criticism, simply…

I had very serious hyperthyroidism when I was 13 years old and had to have my thyroid removed. I've been on Synthroid ever sense. I have become very good at detecting when my levels are low based purely on how much energy I have. Anytime I assumed my levels were low, they were! However, I'm somewhat of a medical anomaly,…

I try to stay alert of my surroundings and otherwise don't worry about it. No point living in fear.
-
95% of my weight lifting routine is done in the weight room...machines are weak.
-
I'm around 158 pounds and am on 250 mcg of Synthyroid! (I had a total removal) Every time I come back low...it's crazy. However, I eat soy products a lot....so, that might be a problem for me. My endo said it was a myth though.

We are already buddies on here, but hi! Feel free to add me peeps! XD
-
Let me just say, I eat fruits and veggies constantly, and my glucose/cholesterol/blood pressure are all pristine! Just my personal experience.
-
Yes, I lift 3-4 times a week. My clothes fit about the same.
-
You pretty much answered your own question. Trying eating 2000 calories of carrots, tomatoes, and cherries. You will find this to be a very difficult mission! Now try eating 2000 calories of big macs...not hard at all.

I love mine! I've had it for a few weeks. It's a pretty simply device honestly. Just make sure to wash it after every use. I just wish it had an independent timer on it. I always use a timer when I lift to time my rest breaks, so I have to switch watches for lifting, haha. Other than that, it's an awesome little device.

I've stopped eating refined white grains like rice, pasta, and white bread. However, I still eat them OCCASIONALLY if I am having a cheat meal or day. I've found that if you cut out these high calorie foods that are relatively low in nutrition, you can replace them with highly nutritious foods like fruits and veggies, or…
