I don't think many PCOS patients with insulin resistance will entirely agree with you. I do both (eat clean and keep an eye on calories) and it's the only thing that has ever worked.

Also, got sidetracked in the GMO argument, but let it be known, I think GMOs are a great idea. HOWEVER I think a big company such as Monsanto placing a monopoly on the whole gene copyrighting thing is a very bad thing indeed.

Good for you. Also have PCOS, didn't put down the fork just changed what was on it and moved some more. My mum went the surgery route, and yeah she lost a load of lbs but nothing got taken care of up there and it has slowly crept back on for her.

haha thanks guys! I took the boiled egg suggestion and it works really well for me, especially when I use my new egg slicey thing. Though I had an exam yesterday, and took in MEGASNACKS they must have thought I was just the fattest ever haha

broccoli sounds good right about now. Popcorn is way too carby a snack for the likes of me :( (despite it being my favourite snack) Carrots are OK I guess in moderation. Alas, I wish they sold beef jerky over here in the quantities I need. It's so expensive for just a little pack (UK) Grrr!
