I had 2 pieces of rye bread with smart balance spread, 5 strawberries and 20 raspberries, and a cup of coffee with sugar free coffee creamer.

I just finished my freshman year, and I also gained the "freshman 15." I have lost about half of it, and am working on getting back to my starting weight pre-college. Feel free to add me :)

The only thing I drink besides water is coffee. Luckily, my stomach is able to handle non-dairy creamers so I put that in my coffee. If I need a dairy alternative, I use Vance's Dari-Free. It is a fat-free, casien-free non-dairy milk alternative derived from potatoes. It sounds gross, but it works well. I do not eat it…

I am 100% nut free, tree nut free, soy free, and egg free (95% of the time, only eat in baked goods). I am also usually dairy free, but have been experimenting the past few days with it and lets just say my stomach is not very happy.

My typical dessert is usually Arctic Zero (Mix of Vanilla Maple and Mint Chocolate Cookie).

Good idea about the fruits and veggies. Thanks everyone!

Also, the Ian's brand has very delicious products. While anyone can eat them, of course, they are designed more for kids than adults. But they're delicious nonetheless!
-
Have you tried the enjoy life brand? Some of their products are better than others, but their soft baked cookies are absolutely delicious! Also, my brother has been gluten for several years and we've tried just about every flour on the market. I would recommend checking out Jules Gluten Free Baking Mixes. You can purchase…

Hi! While I am not gluten free myself, I do cook for my brother who is gluten free along with egg free, dairy free, soy free, nut free, and tree nut free. He also does not eat rice as he has trouble digesting it. There are naturally gluten free products that you can eat to increase your calorie intake like quinoa and brown…

Again, like I said it's different for everyone. For me personally, it has affected me reaching my goal weight. But again, that's just me and my personal experience. Nobody else's.
-
That wasn't me who said that. That was someone else. I was saying for me personally I gain weight from eating particular fruits, while staying within my calorie goal. I have found that some fruits affect my weight more than others. Someone else said something about going over their calorie goals. Again, MY OPINION....MY…

THANK YOU!

Yes melon is very good for you! I am not discrediting that. As for weight loss though, it's not the best choice. Again, I think it's different for everyone. I ate the exact same/exercised the same, except cut grapes/watermelon out and substituted raspberries (same calories of each) and lost weight. So, maybe you do not…

Like I said, many people are going to disagree with this. It is linked to fiber, correct. But, some fruit provided absolutely miniscule amounts of fiber for a lot of sugar. Fruit is very good for you, I am not discounting that. Again, the categories are not real. Just what some people think. No need to be rude.

Please check your messages, I sent you a long message <3

While many people would disagree with this, I believe that there are two categories of fruits: ones that are good for dieting/losing weight, and ones that are not. The best fruits you can eat for dieting are: 1. Berries (Raspberries/Strawberries are especially good) 2. Cherries 3. Apples/Pears 4. Peaches/Apricots The worst…

You have a varied diet, which is good, but I would recommend more protein and less added sugar. I only went back a few days, but from those few days I noticed that you drank sugary coffee drinks (International Delight Iced Mocha; Starbucks). While those drinks are certainly very delicious, and should be enjoyed from time…

My favorite foods to get fiber from are: -Fiber one chocolate cereal (80 calories/0.75 cup = 9 grams of fiber!) -Raspberries (1 cup = 8 grams of fiber)

wassergottin, I do not work out a lot. To be completely honest with you, I have very little motivation to work out. Ever since I was little, I had been fortunate enough to eat whatever I wanted while still maintaining my weight. It wasn't until the last few years, that my metabolism has slowed down and I have gained…

I have a BMI of 17.9 (104.4 lbs), and I am working on getting back to my starting BMI of 17.2 (100 lbs). The last few pounds are the hardest to loose. In my personal opinion, while it doesn't produce the fastest results, eating at least 1,200 calories a day is the most beneficial in the long run. Sure, restriction does…

I was also doing so well in my weight loss, down 4 pounds, and now I am back up 2.6 lbs during my TOM. Very discouraged, especially because I am going to Miami this weekend :(
-
I usually skip the first day, and resume my exercising the second day. I feel much more sluggish though, for sure.

I was eating way too many of them a day, so I stopped buying them. They are so delicious!

One negative aspect of MFP, compared to other calorie counters, is that it counts sugar as both natural sugars as well as added sugars. In my personal opinion, you only need to be concerned about being over your sugar maximum if you're eating added sugar (cookies, baked goods, candy, condiments etc.).
-
I weigh myself on Monday and on Friday. That has worked out well for me.

SW: 112 CW: 105.8 GW: 100-101 Weigh in Dates: 4/1 4/8 4/15 4/22 4/28 End of Month (or whatever weigh in days you use) Total weight lost: The habit I would like to break this month is consuming less artificial sugars (sweet and low etc.).

Don't worry about natural sugars. The only sugars you need to be worried about are those that come from processed foods (breads, baked goods, candy etc.). One thing that I wish MFP did was calculate the natural sugars vs. added sugars. I know other websites like calorie counter do.

Thank you! I am not diabetic though.
