Although what she said was hurtful, I would get over it, she was probably just PMSing or having a bad day. Don't give up on a best friend over a little tiff! Good luck :)

I agree, as a new mom with a busy career, its hard to make time for yourself. Focus on counting your calories, and you can loose the weight without the exercise. If you must fit in exercise, can you get to a gym or a quick run on your lunch break? Get a good running stroller and take long walks or runs on your days off!

I would like to know the secret to water retention as well!

I find drinking more water during that time helps

It took me about 6 weeks to start loosing weight...Just be patient...it will be worth it!

I am in the same boat as misskerouac.

No way my SO needs to know how much I weigh....I will tell him how much I weigh when I get closer to my ideal weight.

Start getting back on track one day at a time. Get out for some exercise whether its the gym or a walk in the park. Making yourself feel good from exercise will help motivate to get back on track! Don't give up!!

I drink diet pepsi to keep me full/occupied between meals. Works for me.

It took me 6 weeks before I lost any weight. Stick with it, and you will see results!

Definitely!

Just keep going! The hard work will eventually pay off! Make sure you are eating enough calories. 500 to 600 calories after 3 meals seems quite low! Good luck :)

I say just enjoy your weekend and don't worry to much about the dieting. I allow myself to indulge on weekends once in awhile, and haven't had any troubles with weight loss. Just make sure to get back on track when the weekend is over! Have a good one :)

If the weather is nice, go for a late night walk to distract you...works for me every time...or call up a friend...do whatever you gotta do to distract yourself from the craving...

I'm the same way...but I use it to motivate me to eat well and workout to get the body I want!

I was the same way...I was gaining weight, and frustrated with the number on the scale going up. I got motivated from a number of things 1. I became completely disgusted with the number on the scale 2. My pants weren't fitting anymore, and didnt want to have to go out and buy all new pants (and having them be a bigger…

I am just as picky as you are, except I will eat meat. I have just accepted that this is the way I am. I have managed to loose weight even though I do hate most foods. I think the hardest part is eating with friends, because they think its weird that I hate everything...

If your craving chocolate that bad, then just have some. As long as its within your calorie limit. If I crave chocolate I split a chocolate bar in half and hide the other half for another time. But if you want a healthy alternative, try chocolate flavored protein, slice up a banana, add some ice and a bit of water in a…

Chicken fingers and fries with a side of gravy....I enjoyed it :) Stepped on the scale the next morning and lost 2lbs....

I feel your pain! I am the same way. I am such a picky eater! I struggle the most at figuring out decent lunch ideas. Because I am so picky, I have resorted to eating the same 2 or 3 things for lunch for months LOL...I dont know about you, but I hate left overs as well!

I have had no problems losing weight eating after 8pm, as long as its within my calorie limits. I guess it really depends on what works best for you.

I am the same way. I usually plan my meals and snacks in advance for the day. I know I am going to want a snack sometime after dinner, so I purposely eat a little less during the day, and save myself about 200 calories for an evening snack. I know that even if I ate well all day, I am going to want that snack anyway...so…

Lost my job, took forever to find employment. I was bored. I was depressed. I emotionally ate.

I aim not to eat my exercise calories, however, on occasion, if I am still hungry, I will eat them.
