  • If you're worried, try canned salmon or sardines. I don't notice that much of a difference when I make salmon salad as opposed to tuna salad. Sardines are a bit fishier tasting than canned tuna but they are a small fish so you don't have to worry about the mercury problem and I think they would do well as a replacement.…

  • You are right about this. For me too the issue in gaining weight was too much alcohol consumption and making really poor food choices because of it. It wasn't really the amount of calories of food I was eating but the types, and plus the calories from the alcohol of course didn't help. Anyway, back to your point about it…

  • I don't know about blackstrap molasses (sorry) but I've heard a good way to sneak some extra iron in is to cook with cast iron pans.
  • I have found this so far with the workouts. I thought 2 was easier than 1. I thought 4 was easier than 3. I find 6 is easier than 5. I guess for me the muscles we work in the 2nd workouts of each set of videos must be stronger. So I'm guessing I will find 8 easier than 7 and so on.
  • I guess I would say just try it for the first week and if you find you are just too exhausted you could either do JMBR on your rest days from the boot camp (if you have any) or just shelve it and come back to it when you are done with the boot camp. Jillian will understand, it's for a good cause! :wink:

  • I went to Vegas at the beginning of this month. I worked out one day while I was there but not the other 3. I gained 5 lbs. However, at my weigh in the next week I had lost it all and was back to the weight I was before I went. Just go back to what you were doing before and you should be fine.

  • I think you kind of need the free weights. I've only done through video 4 but I don't see how you would modify some of the exercises to use only resistance bands. Can you use cans or water bottles or something in place of traditional free weights?
