  • Love it!! >>I'm slow too. But we are both lapping the people who stayed on the couch instead!! I walk a 20 minute mile at least 2 miles every day at a HS track every day. Fit runners pop in lap me a couple times and leave. I keep trodding away. I know it's bolded above, every week by Baconslave, but it has become my mantra…
  • Keeping track of carbs can help you be mindful of what you are eating and making better choices. However, I'm no longer hung up on a number (Must. Get. Less. Than. 50g...) and it's made life much easier. For me, and as others have said eating Keto and LCHF help with the food cravings because you can incorporate fats and…
  • Love this time of year for diet and exercise! The sun is shining and I love to get out for my walks! Down 11 pounds since March 1st. Hoot. I'm consistently doing near 10K steps or above. This past Saturday was 14K, Sunday 12K. We have a new addition to our home. A cutie kitten. All he wants is rotisserie chicken from…
  • Back at it. Using my Fitbit to track. So far, so good this week. Had a wonderful walk last night, looking forward to another one today!
  • In for May. I did really great in April down 4.5 pounds and a total of 10 since starting in March. Trying to keep the momentum going. Shooting for another 5 in May. Walking has been a huge contributor to the weight loss in addition to under 20g carbs. Let's have a great month. Summer is coming!
  • @baconslave @KnitOrMiss Thanks for pulling together a nice summary. One of my favorites. I'm in.
  • Got my 5K steps in this morning! I just drank a Chai Tea Latte!! Oh Darn. 45g of Carbs?? What the heck??? I thought it was tea.. Oh Boy. Looks like a meat day from here on out.
  • Hi Cadori! Nice to be seen again. I just got my 6K steps in. Woohoo! I started at a slow 3K steps and working my way up. Elize7, I'm following your lead. I get burnt out and sore if I start doing too much. I agree set a goal maintain it for a while then bump it up a bit. Rinse, repeat. So far, a good day!
  • Hi Gang. I haven't been here since December 18th. The good news is that I am the exact same weight I was back then. The bad news is that I am at the exact same weight... HAHA. I've been at a high weight for a while now. I got a Fitbit for Xmas and have been playing with my macros on that site. Love it a lot. Been doing…

  • :+1: No Alcohol :+1: Plan lunch I'm drinking my first Switchel - The baristas at work think up the coolest stuff. Best way so far to choke down that apple cider vinegar. Can't say I LOVE it.. Although I do like Ginger beer. I think the maple syrup is too much sugar for this to be a thing. Have a great weekend!
  • @tishsmith101 - Love your list! :+1: No Alcohol :+1: No Cigs - It's been 5 weeks, with only one Sat night when I fell off. Hoot! :+1: Plan lunch I'm drinking a Spindrift Sparkling Water - Cucumber flavored. Never had one before. 2 calories/0 carbs. Kind of interesting taste.
  • 1. Record every day. 2. 30 net carbs/day. 3. 1400 calories per day 4. Prep, prep. whole foods- protein based. September was really good. I'm back to my weigh in June when I went Off program for awhile. BF is down 50 pounds and that has really been motivating. goal 8# this month.

  • Hi All, I'm back again. I had stopped LCHF and just from July 1st I've gained 5 more pounds. The good news is that I've managed to clear out one storage unit! and purge lots of things from the house to make it more like a home. I had to downsize from a large house to a small condo and it hasn't been easy. It has been…
  • Half way through August and I am so excited with my plan to downsize! It's working out great so far. I had 3 storage units and a condo full of stuff. I needed to down size from a 5 bedroom house with an attic and basement into a 2 bedroom condo. Needless to say, I needed to let go! I had sold a lot before the move, but it…
  • No. Unless it's completely out of control. Then trim it up a bit to look human.
  • Every month for the past year my to-do list have been about my goals to lose weight. I lose some pounds, then gain it back. My focus has been completely centered around food & drinks. This month I'm going to try something different. - DOWNSIZING! Over 2 years ago I moved from a big house into a condo and never really got…
  • Here goes. 5'1 SW 7/05 179.2 7/12 176.0 7/19 177.0 7/26 179.0 8/2 178.2 This isn't going as I planned. I have a couple of good days and then a few "off" days and there it is. The infamous stall. Which isn't really a stall, just me not sticking to the plan. Today should be in the good column. Shooting for a successful week.…
  • Here goes. 5'1 SW 7/05 179.2 7/12 176.0 7/19 177.0 7/26 179.0 GW - At least 20 pounds. No comment.... WTF.
  • I love starting off a new week without having any weight gain over the weekend. Hoot! My week days are fairly structured so I can keep the plan in action. I've been in a holding pattern for a few weeks, so I expect some changes this week for the better-- if I stick to the program. This is a week for ME and I've got this.…
  • It was my kiddo's B-day yesterday, but he was with his Dad for the day. I won't see him until tomorrow. Needless to say, it was a really hard day for me yesterday. Divorce sux, but it was better than staying together. This birthday was harder than my own turning 50. He's 15 and I feel like his childhood is coming to a…
  • Second Weigh in. Starting to be accountable. Here goes. 5'1 SW July 5 179.2 July 12 176.0 CW July 19 177.0 GW - At least 20 pounds. UGG. I'm hoping this is just water weight. Had a lot of salt yesterday because I was feeling a bit off and crampy.
  • That is awesome Chillycatmum! IT does get easier. I had a blow out celebration on Friday night, but managed to recoup over the weekend. So no gain, but no loss over the weekend. Staying the course today. Back at it for another week! Looking forward to weigh in on Wednesday. We can do this!
  • Wednesday Weigh in down 3pounds for the week. The first week is always the best~
  • Second Weigh in. Starting to be accountable. (and it's working!!) Here goes. 5'1 SW July 5 179.2 CW July 12 176.0 GW - At least 20 pounds. This is so exciting.. back at it.
  • Still doing good. It certainly is more motivating when you are on a roll! Tomorrow is the end week 1. Stringing it together.. Have a fun Tuesday. Going for a manicure at lunch, so skipping a meal today.
  • I should have stretched before I hit golf balls yesterday. My shoulder is achy today. Great news is that I avoided alcohol all weekend. Ate plenty of good proteins. Went out for Chinese/Japanese restaurant last night. Sashami was really good, stayed away from the egg rolls and pad thai. No white Mai Tai which was my usual…
