Thanks for posting this. My boyfriend frequently rides downhill alone, or does some mountain biking trails solo. It scares me to death. I really like the idea of that app that notifies if the phone hasn't moved.

So I haven't quite perfected it yet, as my diary shows but my goal is 30/35/35 (carbs/fat/protein). Unfortunately, I stick to eating nearly the same thing daily M-F since I'm scared to switch it up and not hit my goals. In the past 3-4 weeks I've dropped quite a few pounds that I was unable to before following this method.…

I had Chiari surgery 11 years ago, and while the surgery fixed the problem, I continued to have daily extreme pain and exhaustion for nearly 7 years following the surgery. My doctors, after ruling out any other explanation, decided I have Fibromyalgia. For the longest time I didn't believe that daily exercise could help…

If you're allowed to snack on the job or get breaks, make sure you're bringing something healthy to eat with you. I would make sure that I was full when I went into work, and had something to eat with me that would insure that I did not get hungry while I was there. That would significantly decrease any desires I had for…

Awesome job!

Awesome job losing weight so far! I have no doubt you will reach your goals and I hope they are everything you expect and more!
-
I've been losing roughly a pound a week eating 1600-1800 calories before exercise, just a few days ago I bumped my calories up to 2000 before exercise and plan to net 1500 calories 5 days a week after exercise.

Holy cow! Excellent job!

OK so a bit of a dilemma that just appeared this morning. I had planned on having my routine be M: Personal Trainer (Circuit Training) T: Light Cardio W: Rest Thurs: NROLFW Fri: Light Cardio Sat: NROLFW Sun: Rest However, my personal trainer would like to start doing a larger group on M/W/F for an hour each and the price…

How did you like it?

I'm 64 inches and 168 pounds and my calories are 2000 on workout days and 1700 on off days. Did the amount of weight you were lifting seem hard or difficult? Or could you lift heavier if you tried?

How tall are you? Are you near your goal weight?

Just finished my first day. I really enjoyed it, except for the squats lol
-
I'm starting today. I'm a bit nervous because I have no idea how to use the squat rack, I mean I'm sure its self explanatory, but I'm still scared. Lots of bulky guys around...Eeek

I had this exact operation in 2004 after being rear-ended by a car in 2003. I was in agony for months (seriously thought I had broken bones but all xrays were clean) with no explanation when finally my doctors ordered an MRI and sent it to a neurosurgeon. He confirmed I had Chiari malformation and needed surgery ASAP. It…

Trail! I love it, it keeps my mind interested and makes the run go by quickly. The added bonuses are that I can have my dog with me and at the end my shins don't hurt!

I'm 27, have about 40lbs to lose. I workout weekly with a personal trainer, and I log in here daily! Anyone can add me!

I would log it as exercise, but MFP has a few options for calorie burn, I think its horseback riding: walking, horseback riding: trotting, horseback riding: general. If you are mostly walking with just a bit of trotting, I would put the whole thing at the walking level since MFP tends to over estimate the calorie burn.…

I believe it was week 5 day 3, I had run the previous run on the pavement when I usually run on a dirt trail and my shins were killing me, and it had just snowed massively so I decided to run for the first time on a treadmill. I was bored, and uncomfortable. It sucked, but I finished. Right now I'm finishing up a two week…
