Good idea to be wary of them! Not sure where you're from, but here in Canada there was a story out east awhile back where a woman was attacked (and died from the injuries) by coyotes on a hike. Mind you, it is rare for them to attack a human, but if they are desperately hungry or ill, they may. Best be on your guard!

Yes, soy lecithin is derived from soy plants, so if you want to stay away from soy products, it is a good one to avoid; although, I've never heard about the link between bloating and soy consumption. The protein powder I use, Leanfit Whey Protein, does not contain soy lecithin. So you could try that one.

Oh, I most definitely take a break from logging on holidays, and some weekends too if I'm away from home. That doesn't mean I go for an all-out pig fest, but I try not to stress so much about it. You are on holiday after all! :smile: Have a great time!

Agreed, planning ahead is your best strategy! Eating a healthy meal beforehand will definitely limit your chances of eating unhealthy choices at the party because you won't be hungry. If it were me, I'd allot some calories for the party itself. I'd probably have a good workout that day and leave some calories to indulge in…
