What are your macro % set to?

If you changed your Macros from what they were automatically set to what are they now and why did you pick the % you did? I would like to change mine but dont really understand the whole thing quite yet..

I set mine to 40% carbs, 30% protein, and 30% fat, based on information I have gleaned from these boards and other online sources, and a friend who is in the fitness industry. I find I feel better when my carbs are kept to a minimum, but it's also hard. I'm discovering that a lot of my favourite foods are carb-based! I also have to really focus on getting enough protein each day.

I've done a lot of studying "proper macro levels" and there is (obviously) a crapload of information out there pulling everyone in different directions. It really comes down to testing different percentages and seeing how it works for you. That being said, I shoot for 20c/50p/30p. This seems to work really well for me, but as I said, it really comes down to testin different methods out for yourself.0
