OMG - what's the point in eating an egg without the yolk, it's the very bestest part!! I regularly eat a two egg omelette with ham, tomato and low-fat cheese. So filling that I'll eat it for a late'ish brekky, and I'm pretty much full until dinner. Yummmmmmmmmo!!

Hahah - I don't need it to be a lot. It's enough mixed in with my salad, plus I also have a yoghurt to follow. Trust me - I make up for it at dinner time. :wink:

Wow! I do tend to weigh most foods, but have also used cups/tablespoons etc. I have always run a blunt knife across the top to get an 'even' amount. But, I guess even that isn't good enough sometimes. Thank you for posting that youtube vid, very enlightening!

Ohhh I hear ya!! I try to behave now, only drinking wine on the weekends (note the word TRY, I do often fail). Often though, my weekend drinking includes Friday through to Sunday nights lol. Sighhh - I can give up everything, but NOT my wine!

Hot chocolate (Jarrah - beautiful and lo-cal) works for me in the winter, and vanilla ice-cream with chocolate topping in summer (nothing lo-cal about either of those, that's the yummy part). I always make sure I leave enough cals for them though!

I'll be interested to see the replies too, there are days that I struggle to reach enough calories as well, even though I've eaten 3 decent meals. I've taken to eating some full fat ice-cream to try and get the cals up.. but some days that's still not enough!
