Absolutely get compression shorts or running tights. That will stop the chafing. Also something like body glide can help with any other trouble spots.

If you have relocated recently it might just be mild depression from the move. It took me six months to a year to get over moving from IN to TX. It was a move my husband and I wanted but it still was stressful and took longer to snap out of than I thought it would. If you are thinking a lot about your wedding and getting…

Champion high support at Target for only $22 has been working for me. I am a 38DD in this but got it a bit small to make sure things stay put. It works pretty well and I do a lot of running.

While running on the pathes near my home, I saw an older disabled man wiping his pug's butt with toilet paper. Hard to keep from laughing. Equally strange ran by a women in the park pulling a wagon with half dozen parakeets in a cage. If walking your birds isn't weird enough for you, her and all her birds were staring…

I have watched and have mixed feelings. Chris seems to really care and helps jump start their weight loss. But similar to BL it is pretty extreme rate of loss and the fitness milestones are a bit too much too soon IMO. I also don't think the people should be rushed into the skin removal surgery before maintaining for a bit.

I understand how it can seem overwhelming. I try to remind myself time will pass more quickly than you think. You will wake up a year from now and be 100 lbs lighter if you just keep at it. Remember to be as flexible as you can and occasionally live a little. You need to find a balance you can live with. I still struggle…

When I was feeling down and sorry for myself - let's go eat worms When I was slightly hurt but thought it was bad - I guess we will have to take you to the junkyard Always made me laugh. Wish she was still here.

When I lived in the country I had a rot mix nip my backside while I was running. Just a small pinch nothing scary. I finished my run and let it go. I am hesitant to turn in a dog because the stupidity of the owner is not the dog's fault and unless I thought it was a real danger to others I won't report. But what really…

No quick fixes. Increase your mileage and speed will improve ( but no more than 10% a week). Also try to get at least one speed session and one long run per week. Just be sure not to do too much too soon.

Loving yourself and healthy self confidence are separate from being happy with your physical body. Even world class atheletes would still like to get more performance out of themselves but that doesn't mean they don't love their body. People will always judge for physical reasons not just weight. Its up to you to prove…

I say go for it. I am about the same weight and age and run 25-30 miles per week. Just start slowly and get good shoes. Be sure to listen to your body. I started running again at about 260 lbs and ran a half marathon at 227 lbs. I second the core exercises. They will really help keep injuries down.
