I had no idea scales could do all of that. I might look in to buying one when I have some extra cash. seems like it's worth knowing!

weight loss is a marathon, not a sprint.

I'd guess it relates to what you feel you can and can not control.

as I've been on this site, I've cared less and less about the accuracy of my calories burned because I struggle enough to eat 1200 calories. I log different numbers based on how hard I feel I pushed myself in the particular class. It isn't important to me if it's correct since I'm not eating the calories back anyway. the…

I wish I could do this! my ankles just can't handle practicing every day yet. good luck!

I try not to keep snacks in the house. when i do, I try to buy single serving packages to keep the portion under control.

depends on what motivates you. seeing the number every day keeps me in check.

good fats like nuts or avacado. liquids like natural juices

thanks! I'm saving this.

HAHA seriously. I don't want mosquito bites or anything. I'd just like halters to not leave bruises on the back of my neck!
-
I don't keep snacks in the apartment and try to make a plate and put everything else away so I'm not tempted to get more
-
thanks! I agree with everything you said and I will check out the calories burned calculator.

I love the heat, I mean... now that it doesn't make me nauseus anymore :)

:( you gotta support the kiddos. when i was 16 my girl scout troop sold enough cookies to take a cruise in the bahamas and visit nasa in florida

no way! I need a little treat every once in a while or I'll break big time.

that is exactly like it was when I lived with my family. I think I developed poor eating habits because If I didn't get it when I first saw it, I didn't get it at all.

I have trouble with this too. a lot of the time I don't eat "enough" but won't be hungry. especially on days that I go to bikram. I think it's because I fill myself up by rehydrating.

I use the blog on here. I sporadically update

ask yourself if whatever you are going to do instead is worth losing progress. I workout in a class setting and I find that being around other people pushes me to work harder, and having to sign up for the class beforehand keeps me from skipping it. also, I signed up for an automatic debit plan at my studio so that I know…

I have tried tanning lotions in the past but whether I use a spray or cream, instant, gradual, streak free whatever... I still end up splotchy and streaked. I give up.

try netflix instant. they have different types of workouts and you can keep things from getting boring by switching it up without buying a lot of dvds

I sure don't know how to fix this, because it's my problem too! I am posting so that I can easily see what others answer :) I don't do any extra core training and I love my fats(nuts, avocado CHEESE) I assume that's why it's my problem area. I always think that I should do sit ups and crunches before bed or when I wake up,…

I weigh and record every day. seeing the number motivates me and seeing the number of pounds lost makes me want to work harder to keep them off. if I don't weigh myself often i talk myself out of excercising and in to eating poorly

really glad I live in a city where there are so many options i never have to go to any of these chains!

I do bikram yoga, and it is an amazing, full body workout. it improves wellness in your body and mind. I never got in to regular yoga like the kind you can just buy a dvd for and do at home, but I'm obsessed with bikram
