  • I'm in - this will be my third, and will appreciated having a support group of like-minded folks to tough base with!
  • Day 31 and the results are in. I confess I am a little disappointed not to have made it to my original goal weight (another 2.9 pounds would do it) but I did see a decent drop in weight and measurements. Looking better in new clothes that are a size or two smaller! Starting weight - 178 Post Whole 30 weight - 171.9 Bust -…
  • Final 2 days for me - and I am looking forward to weighing and measuring tomorrow to see the results. I can clearly see the difference in the fit of clothes but it will be nice to see the numbers! Still have not decided if I am going to extend beyond the 30 days but I will certainly be keeping wheat/grains and sugar out of…
  • I've had similar tummy issues for several days - seems to be resolving itself today though. I seem to be struggling a little more with sugar cravings this weeks as well. I think that is fairly typical for this stage of the game (Day 22 for me). I'm still thinking about extending beyond 30 days - I still have some post…
  • Am loving the recipes links that come in the daily Whole 30 newsletter. I am not an inventive cook, so need all the help I can get! Today I'm making the beef chili recipe - would never have thought of adding cocoa powder - but wow - does my kitchen ever smell wonderful. Glad I made enough for lots of leftovers!
  • I had a very vivid dream about eating HUGE amounts of buttered popcorn - woke up feeling so disappointed in myself until I realized it was only a dream! On day 19 today and planning ahead for the week's meal. Going to try making mayo again today - last attempt was a disaster so keeping my fingers crossed that I get it…
  • I am 5 weeks into my recovery from an abdominoplasty. "Tummy Tuck" is a deceptively "cute" word for what is a major surgical procedure! Contrary to what some have stated, I did not find the procedure very painful, but recovery is still a long process. I am already very happy with the results. Two years after my weight loss…
  • I am on day 16 - and have had similar problems the last few days. I had similar problems at this point in my first Whole 30 as well - it did clear up within a few days. I did closely examine my diet - and I think the amount of fat I have been consuming the past few days is lower - also, my water intake has diminished over…
  • This - AND it is about so much more than the number on the scale - try not to be so hard on yourself!
  • Day 16 for me and I really do feel great! Yesterday was a challenging day for me - my youngest daughter turned 19, the "legal" age where we live. Of course, this life event involved a dinner/night out at a local pub. As I anticipated, pub food is not exactly "Whole 30" friendly. So proud of myself for facing the challenge…
  • Day 10 for me and I am feeling great! I am 4 weeks post abdominoplasty - and was hoping another Whole 30 would help me regain some energy/strength. I am still very restricted as far as activity goes so I am focusing only on food - and so far so good. I have noticed a huge reduction in swelling across my abdomen and a…
  • Hello - I'm new to this thread but look forward to getting to know you all. I am three weeks post abdominoplasty after losing 120 pounds, and am doing a "Whole 30" for the month of November hoping to get back on track with healthy eating and regain some of my lost strength. My goals for November: - Complete the Whole 30…
  • Feel free to add me, as well. I'm not tracking anything but excercise during my Whole 30 - but normally do track all food.
  • I would probably drink a little extra water today - maybe go for a walk or bike ride, and be happy that I can enjoy life and then get back on track. Hope you had a great time celebrating with your grandson!
  • Thanks for sharing your list. Some I'm familiar with, and some are new - looking forward to investigating further! Kerry
  • I would love to connect with other Paleo followers as well - feel free to add me!
  • I started my second Whole 30 April 1 - still struggling with the call of the scale, but otherwise everything is going well. I'm sending a friend request and looking forward to following along with your journey. Kerry
  • I'm in for my second!
  • Sounds like you are well prepared for your first week. My favorite breakfast while on my Whole 30 was roasted sweet potato with cinnamon and nutmeg, a little raw nut butter and some mixed berries with shredded coconut on top. Good luck!
  • You can add me, as well - I aim for more than 80 % and track often.
  • I just finished my first Whole 30 - and it was great! I would love to follow along as you complete yours. Good luck!
  • reading later
  • I do a lot of preparation on the weekend. I pre-cook most of my protein (with the exception of seafood) and do as much prep as possible with my vegetables. I prefer salads and raw veg, so that's quite easy to prepare ahead. I'm just finishing up a Whole 30, and I feel much of my success with that program is because I…
  • Best of luck to you - I am on Day 27 and have learned so much on this journey!

  • The first ten pounds did the trick for me - I've had no issue since.
  • Good question - I am in a similar situation and look forward to reading the responses!
