  • After 40 lbs lost, I've been off my "routine" for about 2 months now, meaning I've upped my calories and now trying to cut them back down to see what happens. I haven't lost a darn pound in 2 months.. gained a couple but lose that over night.. lol I have not had any workout routines really and need to start that. 40 lbs…
  • perfectly normal to me.. I started at the same weight as you and it took a bit but when I first dropped I lost 14 lbs in 3 weeks, then gained 9 back - which took 3 more weeks to get rid of that.. I seem to have a pattern, loose 2-3 lbs in 3 days, then stay stagnant for 2 weeks, then repeat. Within the 2 weeks "stand still"…
  • All I can say is WOW.. no wonder my popcorn at home never tastes the same!!! omg..
  • I have the EA 2... I LOVE IT!! It doesn't let you cheat either!!!
  • Yes.. I have a limit of 1240 per day and usually come in around there.. + or - a little is not an issue. I don't exercise much as my schedule doesn't allow for it and I don't want to exercise at 4am or 10pm.. I've lost 30lbs since Nov 1st on the eating regimine. Sometimes I have a Big Mac if my calories allow but usually…
  • Sometimes more is not better when it comes to excercise - it's the type of excercise that's important and the intensity. My fitness instructor told me that your body gets used to what you're doing and it requires confusion to proceed with your goal and a lot of that is changing up your routine every now and then...
  • Thanks everyone for the kind words! It's true, you never really notice it until you weigh yourself or you are forced to by new clothes... but no more! lol I must have been eating terribly considering I haven't really exercised in the last 3 months and have lost what I lost by just eating better and less! lol
  • Thanks, it was just more of a wake up call really.... good luck to you in your journey!!
  • I always understood that diet soda dehydrated you and therefore your body holds onto it's food and tries not to shed the weight.. good luck, I look forward to hearing how you do!
  • Just keep doing what you're doing.. I noticed, for me, that I "plateau" for 2 - 2.5 weeks then lose 1-4 lbs over 2-3 days, if I lose 4 then I usually gain 1 back but 1-3 is usually average, then "plateau" again for another 2 - 2.5 weeks.. that is the way my trend has been. I fluctuate 4-5 lbs in a day, every day, though..…
  • I agree too.. I see pictures and don't see what I see in the mirror.. not sure why that is.. and I ask people if what they see in the picture is what they see when they look at me and they say only sometimes.. I am totally not photogenic and sometimes don't recognize myself..
  • WOOHOO!!! I'm almost there myself - that's awesome!!! Congrats and keep it up!!
  • Hi there, Here's mine - it averages out to 228 calories per serving: 1lb of extra lean ground beef (if you want less calories, use bison or turkey) 1 regular can of Brown beans in tomato sauce 1 reg. can of Red Kidney Beans (rinsed) 1 regular can of diced or stewed tomatoes 1/2 medium onion 1 celery stalk 1 green pepper 2…
  • That's awesome!! Good for you. You've lost a lot very quickly so don't be surprised if you plateau soon or even gain a few pounds back though. I lost 18 lbs the first 3 weeks and then gained 8 back the week after - you tend to loose a lot of water the first little bit until your body gets used to what you're doing.. stick…
  • Hi there, I'm in a simiar situation.. I carry some low cal snacks in my vehicle with me and in my purse - I also have a little cooler for things like cheese strings and tomoato juice when I'm on the road. When I go into a work place for the day, I bring my groceries rather than a premade lunch sometimes. A bag of salad, a…
  • Thank you all so much for the responses! Very helpful! I know I feel WAY better than I ever have been and I notice my excercises are getting "easier" and I need to change it up a bit as well. starting tomorrow - the "step-up" begins! Thanks again everyone! And good luck to you all!
  • thanks.. but what does it mean eating half my excercise calories?
  • Thanks everyone!! I thought about the water weight.. it's just a tad bit discouraging to start this process (which is almost the hardest thing I've ever done it seems ) and to gain.. lol But I am in it for the journey, of that there's no doubt.. so I will perservere!!!! haha!! Thanks!
