I'm in a very similar situation with my mother. She made poor choices in her life, and she was unable to safely and adequately care for herself at the age of 55. She lived with my family for a couple of years before she went to live in an assisted living facility (where she has resided since). When living with me, just…

I have found my Polar FT4 to be very accurate. 1) Obvious, but necessary, question…do you have your height/weight/age set properly on your HRM? 2) 90 minutes is a long time to be active, and that calorie burn sounds about right for such a duration for a reasonably light activity. I plugged 90 minutes of Yoga into MFP…

I read that the original screenplay that adhered to the book was ditched when the rights were purchased. I do not have high hopes for this book to movie adaptation, but I hope the movie is good in its own way.

I know it's not an option for some, but I just ditch my glasses during runs. I hate having them on my face when sweating.

This is so not true. :ohwell:

LOL I know! I completely freaked when I saw this. I had been a loyal Old Navy customer for years.

I will never look at Old Navy and Gap jeans the same after seeing this: http://www.graspingforobjectivity.com/2012/07/gap.html Here is the best guide I have seen online for picking out a pair of jeans: http://www.graspingforobjectivity.com/2012/02/jeans.html

Thanks for commenting. Do you have a link where I can read more about this recommendation? Based on your ticker, you know what you're talking about; I just like to research and learn.

I just bought this one: http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Digital-Bathroom-Technology/dp/B001KXZ808/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1363271119&sr=8-1&keywords=eatsmart+scale Can't attest to its accuracy yet, but I researched scales and this seemed to be the best one.

You look at least 15-20 years younger! Congratulations on your success!

Good luck! It's great that you were stay active during your "off time." I am also restarting C25k since taking time off due to injury. I had a tibial stress fracture, so my activity was extremely limited.

Inspiring.

beautiful progress, sweetie!

This was at about 70-75lbs lost. Was not my heaviest in the "before" pic. Still a ways to go...it is still hard to for me to tell a difference.

Because there are no adults on this site that suffer from ADHD that treat themselves nutritionally? If it doesn't interest you, don't open it.

One thing I have not seen mentioned above is to stay away from food coloring. I treated my daughter with diet until it no longer became enough to curb her symptoms (age 8). She began to struggle too much in school. Her self-esteem and our parent/child relationship greatly suffered during this time. She has tried two…

I would say the ability to comfortably walk at least 30 minutes continuously is a good minimum fitness level for beginning C25k. There is a "pre-C25k" program, but it isn't necessary. http://coacheaglesgirl.blogspot.com/2011/07/pre-c25k.html

I'm have food allergies too. I would go for a piece of fruit (banana, orange etc) before and protein after (eggs, meat). Good luck with your program.

When I first started Zombies, Run, I was not getting zombie chases because I was using a GPS fitness app (MapMyRun, but there are others that can also interfere). This app was interfering with Zombies, Run. Only one app can use the GPS feature, so you can't use these apps with Zombies run. @LostOutrider, it is not possible…

This may help: https://www.zombiesrungame.com/support/ You have to have Zombie chases turned on to get chased. Unless you are using the 5k version, which doesn't have zombie chases. Not sure about this. Have you tried logging into zombie link on your computer? Yes, a mission settings screen appears when you are about to…

Look into speed, agility, and quickness training (SAQ). Good luck!

Perhaps she isn't eating *enough* to fuel her body?

This is helpful. Thanks.

Also disappointed *pout*

I'm allergic to pork, so turkey bacon it is for me. I prefer Butterball or Jennie-O brands. I agree that you need to cook it longer to get the crispiness, otherwise it's not so good.

Would you care to show me your motherboard? ummm hmm...
