Latasha, Welcome to MFP. You have made the first step in success by just joining and having the "Want to" congratulations on that. :drinker: We all go through this and we all need additional help to meet our goals. I am in the Fab~n~Fit 8 week challenge. We are in the second 8 weeks and in 3 short weeks they will begin…

I am 5'1.75" and I have done the 1200 calories for about 5 months. And just recently upped them to 1320 only because I have lost 30 lbs and find that its harder to get the weight to come off now that I am getting closer to my goal. I think you need to experiment with the calories and do what is best for you. It all has to…

Thank you, thank you, thank you....I totally agree. I also think that if you eat less than 1000 calories you will be sabotaging your weight loss eventually.

Awesome job...you look fabulous! \ o / WTG!!!!

You sure look like you lost more than 12 lbs!!! You are doing an Amazing Job! :drinker:

Agree with this ^^^^^ If she was a real "Female Friend" he would have told her about you...he would be talking about you to everyone if you were his "Exclusive". Also, if they were just "Female Friends" he wouldn't feel the need to go outside and talk to them privately. I would take time to step back and really look at…

Guess you are just not joining the right groups. Badfattitude and Punkmom62 are having another group start next Monday. I extend an invitation to you and…

Fabulous job. I am so proud of your accomplishment. You are a true inspiration to us all. :drinker:

It gets easier but be careful its tough on the knees no matter what age you are (all the jumping). If you experience sore knees I suggest doing it every other day instead of every day. IMO :drinker:
-
Two thumbs up for your awesome progress. :drinker:

Hi there...sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your knees. I too have a bad knee and it does get better the more activity that you do. Two things that I have found helpful...one of them you may think a little crazy. 1) Drink an 8 oz glass of cherry juice a day it helps with the joints all over. 2). Buy a support…

Unless a doctor reccommends it, and I seriously doubt he would you need all 3 of those to stay healthy especially during weight loss. Maybe reduce the macros or % per your calorie intake but not completely cut them out. IMO :drinker:

When someone doesn't wipe the machines down after they use them....Gross!!! :grumble: That's why I choose to workout at home.

Congratulations on your accomplishment! :flowerforyou:

Awesome...you look fabulous. :drinker:

None Scale Victories. Such as fitting into a dress you haven't worn in awhile, moving the belt over another notch, ect... NSV;s motivate you to keep on the weight loss wagon because you can actually see the results and you know you are losing weight. Example: i have only lost 10lbs by the scale but I have lost a total of…

Yea me too..I also didn't know how misleading the scale be either.

Cograts, you look fabulous. :drinker:

Feeling better physically Being able to fit in clothes that aren't a double digit Going to the beach without feeling embarrassed Looking Fabulous for a woman of 51 or 52 (will probably be next year when i reach my goal so lets say 52). :drinker:
-
Ask yourself this.. If my house was burning down and an unfit looking fireman came to rescue me would I look at him and say, "No thanks i'll just stay here and burn to death." Stop sterotyping that's is part of the problem of this world. just saying.

I am 5' 1.75" and I have been down as low as 105 when I was in my early 20's; I am 51 now and that number just seems to low and unhealthy for me so I would be happy around 125 to 130. :flowerforyou:

Good for you! Your goal is that much closer. :drinker:

In 2007 I tried The South Beach Diet....I weighed 191 lb and dropped down to around 170lb. guit the diet because the low carb thing made me sick and gained back 15 lbs. Stayed at around 185lb and last year I did the Flat Belly Diet and dropped down to 165lbs. got bored with it and gained back 12lbs and in July I found MFP.…
