  • did you replace a lot of those foods with fruits and veggies and did you drink lots of water?
  • You deserve a standing ovation!! Congrats to you on your journey and you are truly an inspiration to many people out there. This should definitely not be your final post as you could continue to inspire many many people on their weight loss journey!
  • You can add me! I am also 41 and just started my diet back up. I had lost 30 lbs in 2013 and have since gained it all back. So go ahead and add me...we got this!!!
  • I downloaded it and tried it. I do not think it gives you a true glimpse of what you will actually look like at your goal weight. :( I did lose 30 lbs 2 years ago and my face was actually thinner than what the picture showed at my GOAL weight lol.
  • I have no problems using the App. Am able to log all my food on the App. Are you all on IPhones or Androids? I am on Android.
  • Girl you do NOT look 41! Way to Go!!
  • wow wow wow wow wow....looks like a completely different person! Would love to see his after photo from the surgery when it is all done.
  • I am in! I need to get back on track with this weight loss since I pretty much gained back what I lost 2 years ago.
  • actually according the clinical guidelines a BMI of 21-23 is perfectly NORMAL for your height. So that would put your weight at 111-122 lbs. Your friends should look it up.
  • I didn't log the WHOOOOOOOLE weekend...lol. Of course I gained 3 lbs back, but it was my own fault. Thank goodness it is coming off quick because Monday morning it was back on track.
  • I agree...if you want Pizza...then eat Pizza. As long as you don't go crazy with it...(1-2 slices is sufficient) then you should be fine. Adjust your diet for the rest of the day and leave yourself some room for Pizza. I still eat Pizza and am losing weight.
  • Not my wedding ring, but put on my room mate's ring which is a 7 and it fit perfectly....I was wearing a 9
  • Water Water Water!!!! Before I hardly drank water...ever. Now I drink almost a gallon of water a day! Also being able to say no I don't need to eat that...:)
  • my favorite is the chocolate cherry
  • Bryers no sugar added Neapolitan Ice Cream. 1/2 cup is 80 calories...and it is SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. My room mate and I had to force ourselves to put it away lol
  • I probably will win this one...I have 22 cats...lol. Not all in our house...we have barn cats and cats that have their own enclosure outside. We also have 10 of the 22 in our house, but we also have a large farmhouse. Needless to say...I have to clean constantly. I am always paranoid that our house is going to smell like…
  • I so agree with you. I have Lupus and being heavy takes a HUGE toll on my joints. Plus being on medication that is prone to making you feel hungry CONSTANTLY is ridiculous. So, to me, it will absolutely be worth it to lose all this weight. I honestly do not know why your friend would feel that way. If he wasn't enjoying…
  • yes I know it is definitely similar and often times misdiagnosed as Lupus. I have found a nice low impact workout on Youtube by Fitnessblender. It works you pretty good, but not too much. I haven't gotten to the part yet where I can tell the difference between pains, but I am sure I will get there. My hope is to come off a…
  • Oh I have seen those on here that do not consider it exercise, and yet so many people have lost weight by...<gasp> WALKING...lol. I saw where one person on here said walking a dog is not exercise. Well I bet if she were to walk my two crazy dogs she would most DEFINITELY change her tune
  • Sorry these replies are days later, but THANK YOU!! I am trying to work myself up to exercising 30 minutes a day 3 times a week and then up to 45 minutes a day 4 days a week. That is my goal, but it just frustrates the hell outta me that I have to start SLOWER than everyone else. My roommate has lost about 85 lbs and looks…
  • wow thanks for all the replies!! I also have a hard time telling myself too much is too much. I was doing squats the other day and then cleaning all day yesterday. Screwed up my knee and was in pain all night and all day today. I always push myself too much because I am hard headed lol. I was also having a lot of fatigue,…
  • I agree! I was very disappointed because she had been on me for YEARS to lose weight and when I did...not a single "way to go". It would have been nice.
  • Thank you for the response! I don't go to a Gym because it is too expensive so I am trying to exercise at home. I think I am just going to keep everything low impact for now. I was just curious what other Lupus suffers do as far as exercise.
  • Yep not a care at all...I was not happy at all lol
  • How about your own doctor who has been on you to lose weight not even saying good job when you have lost 30 or so lbs? Yep that is what happened to me last year...I thought of all people she would be estatic because she has been telling me every time I went to lose weight...nope she didn't even say a word.
  • I can tell you that I am on a 1200 calorie plan and am having a hard time meeting that goal. I eat all day long, drink half my weight in water and am very full that I usually end up with calories left over...is that bad? I do eat a lot of veggies throughout the day, but I feel like I get full meals as well.
  • That is great..what types of excercise did you do to get there?
  • wow that is great! What types of excercise do you do? I am also 5'3" and at 191.2. Want to be down around 128.
