Personally... I am going to continue eating the way I am when I hit my goal. I'm satisfied and feel great. If my body continues to lose more weight after the "goal" I set, well so be it. I am not going to change the way I am eating (by adding more calories) because I have tried too hard to "re-train" my brain how to…

I'm 5'5 and my goal is 135. I too get the remarks... "you're too skinny", "you're just a shadow", "you'll gain it back when your done with your diet". These comments make me feel uncomfortable. But I feel great damn it! :drinker:

I am proud you made it through the whole program. That takes a lot of determination itself.....not to mention in the middle of your grieving.... :flowerforyou:

^^This. It wasn't always like that for me though. But.... you know "you've made it" when you go through the drive-thru for your hungry teenager and you decide to pass on EVERYTHING. :drinker: Ms. Butterfly - 1 Ronald McDonald - 0

It has been in my experience that the more weight you have to lose, the faster it comes off at first. Eventually everything will adjust and level out in the weeks to come.

What is myspace?  I agree with a couple of you. FB is a thing of the past for me too. Since I've given up "checking it every 20 minutes"....all of a sudden I have this extra time on my hands. I guess I just grew tired of all of the narcissist behavior. I'll pass on the butterfinger cake too.

I think your profile picture says it all. :flowerforyou: Think about taking it one day at a time. Or even one minute at a time if you have too..... baby steps. Minute 1. Get shoes on. Minute 2. Feel good about getting shoes on and then do some stretches. Minute 3. Feel good about stretching and then step outside. Minute 4.…

.....Can I just say this is pretty much the best damn thread ever. :flowerforyou: Dear 16 year old me... Continue making the choices you are making. Because if you make a left turn, instead of a right - you'd probably be in a different place and then you won't be the fantastic person you are today! Why would you want to…

The reward for my weight loss is having everyone saying "you're skinny"! :blushing: THAT......to me is reward enough.

IMHO... You have to "re-train" your mind how to eat. You absolutely CAN'T think of it as a diet. It has to be a way of life. First... plan plan plan your meals. Begin by finding things you WANT to eat. (I found mine on Pintrest.) I started by making awesome shakes in the morning. I throw in a scoop of protein powder and…

I buy frozen bags of fruit and separate them in separate individual freezer bags. Easy to just throw the whole thing in the blender in the morning with a couple handfuls of fresh spinach. (I use the cooking spinach to make smoothies/shakes.) The banana will definitely mask the protein powder...and I do suggest the vanilla…

I have used Body Fortress protein powder - vanilla. I dump a scoop in the blender and make my own protein shakes and I don't even taste it. (Or maybe I like it and don't mind the taste!?:drinker: ) Some of my typical smoothies/shakes I make are... spinach, banana, strawberry, greek yogurt, protein powder, ice spinach,…

Hummm? That's bizarre that's what came to your mind first. It looks like some type of hybrid marijuana plant IMO. :flowerforyou:

I recommend using spinach more often than not. It blends easily with other flavors and it's nutritious value is outstanding. I don't juice, but I do make smoothies as least once a day. Some of my favorites are: spinach + banana + strawberry spinach + mango + green tea + vanilla yogurt spinach + blueberries + honey…

^^This. Not that's it's a turn on... but a man will always go after what they want. I don't want to "chase" a man who "may" want me.

I have gained 3-5 lbs during that TOM. However, after it's over, I also find I lose those 3-5 lbs + some. It's frustrating... and if you find yourself gaining too... I recommend staying off the scale until its over.

I'm finding it's better to learn how to eat... than to learn how to diet.
