I've lost 82 so far and aiming for 20 more. Feel free to add me. I would love to provide some motivation and diary ideas!

Even if you have done turbo fire many times, it all comes down to nutrition. What is your goal with nutrition? What is your goal for results?

Caloric deficit range Men 6′ and above: 1900-2200 calories per day 5’6 – 5’11: 1700-1900 calories per day Less than 5’6: 1500 Women 5’6 and above: 1200-1400 calories per day Under 5’6: 1000-1200 calories per day You just stay at the same caloric amount, you don't eat back exercise calories otherwise you'd lose less weight…

Protein keeps you full longer due to feeding your muscles and repairing it. But keep in mind you need to have balanced meals and snacks. What are your ratios for protein, carbs, and fat? If you're going over on protein, that's fine, but you need to keep in mind how much carbs and fat you're eating too. I eat about 150g…

It depends on what you're aiming for. Insanity- conditions your cardio and gives you a lean body- no weightlifting, all lifting are from using your body. P90X- All-round program, mix of cardio, lifting, and recovery. You would have great results with either one, really. Also don't forget nutrition is important as well!

It's kind of too much whey protein for your body to process each day. It's ideal to eat up to 2 scoops per day, not 5. Try getting lean chicken and lean turkey alternatives because each serving is basically equal to 1 scoop of whey protein. What calories are you at? I'm on the fat shredder as well.

Yes, the modification is to use a chair to do pull-ups on. You put one leg on it and you use as little pressure as possible and pull yourself up. Resistance bands won't work as well as assisted pull-ups, take it from me!

after about 2 months, I really saw changes when I saw my day 60 pictures. the first 2 months were basically a shock to the system and I was really big so even though I lost 17 pounds in the first month, I didn't really see any changes except in my strength and stamina. Bring it!

I've lost 72 pounds and counting and I'm almost done with round 2. I wrote a review on the program if you would like to see. Add me and check out my blog. My girlfriend lost 24 pounds just like that in about 2 months. Nutrition is 80% of the results, and the P90X side is going to tone you up and really lose weight, no…

Protein shakes are for supplementing the amount of protein you need each day, to finish up your protein intake plus it can be done as a recovery drink after a hard workout. It all zooms on what your nutrition is like each day. Are you trying to lose weight? Get toned? Like if I eat about 200g of protein each day, a protein…

One of the things that helped me tremendously to lose all my weight is to close off to the people that would doubt me the most. I didn't tell my family or anyone for about 5 months and I used the time to REALLY focus on my workout and nutrition regimen. If you can't "get away" from your family, find people that support…

Set it to 50% protein, 30% carbs, and 20% fat at 1200 calories. Eat 5-6 times through the day, 2-3 hours spaced in between. You won't get hungry this way and your body will be fed frequently enough to rev up your metabolism. If you're exercising, great! Keep the same macros I stated above. This is one of the proven fat…

P90X definitely! I have a review if you want to read about it. http://teamchiseled.blogspot.com. In short, it'll give you nice muscle definition while losing the last of your body fat. Nutrition is key with it for you to get maximum results. Best of luck to you and let me know if you have any questions!

I'm doing a hybrid of both and it's a great combo. Insanity- 60 days long and lots of jumping and such to get your heartbeat working hard. P90X- all-round program with lifting, cardio, and recovery. I have a review of P90X if you want to read- http://teamchiseled.blogspot.com Either program will be awesome to go through…

If you eat your nutrition correctly plus exercise every day, you will lose weight. The key is what to do each day to maximize your fat loss for the week and long-term. hour-long walks are good but you still need to switch it up often or your body will start to plateau and lose less fat as you go. Do you want some ideas for…

I was completely out of shape when I started P90X in January. I lost 70 pounds and can do at least 30 pushups when I could only do 1 on the first day. So, yeah P90X is great for fat loss, Insanity too. It's personal preference though, but I find that Insanity burns the fat off straight out, while P90X lets you gain muscle…

Resistance bands work great. Just need to hook it to the door and you're good to go. Walmart has a pull-up bar for about 25 bucks if you're interested. It works great and is very sturdy.

Your friend is right. But don't drop MFP. You can custom-tailor it to get the right percents for your daily consumption. I do P90X as well and have lost 70 pounds (and counting). I follow the nutrition plan as tight as I can. I can PM you the nutrition guideline if you would like. Feel free to add me, I'm still doing the…

I get scared a bit losing all this weight at times but at the same time, you're getting more and more healthy. You're not on pills. You're not diabetic. You're not swimming with the others in the ocean of obesity (lame example I know). Maybe it'll be a good time to look at yourself deeply and maybe adjust your wardrobe and…

It's a great program to switch it up. I recommend the lean version if you're looking to have a bit more cardio and toning up. Otherwise, the Classic version is always great to do too. If you're worried about bulking, don't :) It won't happen that way so don't worry about it. You won't have a problem losing more weight and…

Eat your 3 meals with 2 snacks in between. B-snack-L-snack-D and all 3 meals need to be a bit bigger than your snacks. How active are you?
-
It's hard working out alone. I know, it happened to me before. I started working out with my girlfriend and it got a lot easier. It also makes me feel better if I have a specific nutrition guideline to follow everyday and know what to eat, what not to eat. Also knowing what to do for a workout each day is essential to…
-
Feel free to add me too. What do you plan to do to lose the weight? Gym? Or just stick to the nutrition aspect?
-
You will need a supplement to get the right amount of protein each day. If you're aiming for 50% or whatever, whey protein works. Feel free to look at my diary, you will see I'm on a high protein, moderate carb, low fat nutrition guideline. Tons of protein food on there you can find ideas from. Good luck!

That can be boring, yeah. I have my moments where I just shut my eyes and do the exercise because I know what they're going to say or do, haha. Probably need to work on nutrition a bit more if you weren't that tight with it at the first place. Keep it up!
-
Yes, it's very possible as long you keep on top of your nutrition and work out everyday. I lost 70 pounds in 5 months with P90X so yeah it's possible :) You'll need to have a nutrition guideline and especially what to eat and what not to eat. If you need help with that, free to send me a PM, and add me too. Best of luck to…

50 pounds might seem like a stretch to lose but with the right tools, it's smooth sailing. I've been doing P90X for about 5 months and lost 70 pounds. Nutrition, to me, is 80% of the results I've gotten and 20% is from working out. Why not just follow a program and bring it hard for one hour each day? It works for me and…
-
What do you need help with, mainly? Feel free to add me, I'll add some motivation :)
-
That's awesome many of you are going to do this soon. I'd love to make a group for you all to go in and keep each other motivated. I do P90X and Insanity everyday and loves them! Let me know if you guys want me to set a group up on facebook.

P90X is perfect for that. You could also blend in Insanity to replace the P90X cardio to make a really solid hybrid. Either program works, really. Let me know if you have more questions :)
