  • I've lost 12lbs since 1/15, thought I didn't go completely Keto until last Tuesday. My Dr had me check out Dr Eric Berg YouTube videos. I used the free 2 week shopping and menu plan from Dietdoctor.com for my first week to help me get things figured out. Found some terrific recipes! The Pizza and the Tuna Salad are new…

  • Okay, so I found your post on my computer to see just what it was about ;) Your diary looks good, water great. My trainer is having me eat about the same amount of food 5 times a day...also adding a protein/amino supplement because I can't eat enough food for my workouts & loose wt too. I also try to keep my sodium under…

By Mayo Clinic staff If you're like many people, you're getting far more sodium than is…
  • wow. really? Loosing weight to impress others is a NOT a healthy reason to loose weight! Try expanding your circle of friends to those who really care about you, not your looks!!! Maybe some therapy for low self esteem would be a better investment for the next two weeks.
  • I am looking for a God-centered support group. You can see my info on my page... This verse describes well my journey since last Sunday, regarding my overeating (what God calls gluttony and sin!) and my lack of enough exercise (what God calls laziness and sin!) PSALM 77:1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with…

  • I am a 2nd year college student & the consensus here is that diligence is the only way to avoid gaining weight with all the stress!! Good luck!
  • Maybe blame the Muslims? They don't serve pork in public schools in many European countries because of the Muslims, and they have also removed pigs from the children's curriculum on farming so as not to offend them!
  • Save the Bacon!!!
  • Your Chef Boy R D had like 6 times the amount of sodium than the fries!!!
  • check for yourself, but I believe that the burger had even more sodium than fries? I try to avoid any packaged stuff because of the sodium content.
  • First of the year I tried to use the elliptical at the gym, but my knees couldn't do it; yesterday I did 2 minutes, today I did EIGHT + minutes on the thing!!!
  • It is recommended to replace the calories used while exercising. Exercise can boost metabolism, so more calories are used even after exercising. More muscle means the body uses more energy even at rest. If I don't replace at least some of the calories, I find myself getting too hungry, which leads to unhealthy binges of…
  • I am also new to MFP -- and loving it!! If you check my diary, you will see that I have just honestly recorded what I ate, and am gradually changing my diet. We're a family of poor college students, and don't have $ for "healthy foods" right now ...I've just been eating what's available in my pantry. My fridge is almost…

They took Flaxseed oil: 1 tablespoon per 100lbs of body weight, in divided doses (half in AM, Half in PM). In time (can't remember how long) ALL 10 were 90% better! So…
  • Excellent advice!
  • I heard from a doctor friend, a psychiatrist that believes in nutritional support before meds, that 100mg of vitamin B6, taken daily, will help. It works slowly, because it's not a pharmaceutical; takes about 3 months to see full change. He also says that In Washington, every should take D supplements, 6-9 months of the…
  • Wow! Your dedication and hard work have really paid off!
