Go to your settings and adjust your weight, life style and goals to get a more realistic calorie limit. This is about lifestyle change not starving yourself. :flowerforyou:

  • Well I have hypothyroidism too! i think you need to stop using that as an excuse, you are on the medication so your thyroid actions are being replaced. Get entering healthy foods into MFP and stay within your cal limit and get some exercise. I sometimes enter a meal before I prepare and add amounts or take some out…
  • In reality I agree, eat a healthy and varied diet, watch portions and get some exercise it's all about a lifestyle that you can live by.
  • As in eat for your blood group? Sounds like you must be O group.. I think it makes sense. My grand daughter is an A and they are meant to be vegetarians and she at 18 mths seem to prefer a vegetarian diet all by her own choice so it is probably built into us then life takes over n we eat whatever!
  • I don't generally measure or enter the salad stuff unless i want to enter the nutrients, I figure they are all about the good stuff to eat!

  • I had a hysterectomy a few years back and the weight has slowly crept on! I too am finding the usual tricks aren't working any more! Apparently it gets harder as you get older too! Belly fat is the main problem for me. MFP and counting calories should work and of course exercise ..we hear it all the time and that is…

  • Hi Ya! I think this site is great cos you learn where the fat comes from! I sat with my hubby n had a vodka and soda and munched on about a half a cup of roasted salted cashew nuts and when I added them to my daily food diary I nearly died when I saw how many cals were in them...so I will think before I munch. MFP makes…
  • The trouble with water is it leaves the stomach fast then leaves you feeling hungry.
  • Make sure you eat protein and plenty of healthy choices and keep your tummy happy then you won't get starving hungry and fall on anything and plenty of it ! Don't feel defeated if you slip up just get back on track.
  • Yes the products labels on the front say one thing, then read the ingredients and learn just what is in those "Healthy" foods.
