The free c25k app by zen labs lets you listen to your own music and the run/walk voice breaks in to alert you. And when you're halfway, and when you have a minute left.

Raised in Hazelwood, moved several years ago to St. Peters

Loathe is putting it lightly for me.... well, 3 months ago maybe. You gotta get the Couch to 5k app. Mine was free, by zen labs. It takes you SO slowly from walking, then jogging, little by little and it makes it so easy. Before you know it, you'll be running a 5k, and believe it or not, LOOKING FORWARD to your running…

Look up Geocaching.com!!!! Geocaching is the perfect outdoor and off the couch activity because it can be done alone, or with a group, or anywhere in between. You can go as far from home, or close to home as you like, and make it as much of an adventure as you like also. We will also load up the kiddos in a stroller and go…

+1 for zen labs

I was planning on running it with my sister, brother, his GF and wife and sister walking, along with some friends. The day I graduated the C25K program, I got a stress fracture, and I still can/t run. I'm gonna walk it, briskly :P Hoping to RUN my first race, possibly many, this up coming year. I'm doing St. Louis one, btw.

I was in your same predicament. I chose to run, every other day, doing the C25K program and put off insanity. My 5k was planned (and paid for) for the 1/1/13 Commitment day run. Well, the day I finished the C25k program, I got a stress fracture in my foot. No running, no 5k, no insanity. 6-8 weeks. Make sure you got some…

I've been finding new favorite apple varieties. Honeycrisp is my FAVORITE, but its like $5/lb! I've recently discovered I love Gala, Jazz and Envy apples as well. Some great pears at the store lately, and bananas too! eta: sorry, thats more like 3-5 favorites. :-P

I love ours, need to use it some more actually. The kinect sports is great. The one with sand volleyball and boxing (along with other sports). Those two are my favorites though, and with my competitive spirit, I'll be sweating my @$$ off after a few matches! We also have biggest loser, but honestly have not gotten time to…

Really?!! You people don't like the PB2?!! I love it and tell everyone about it! I eat it on sandwiches, on apples, toast, celery, whatever! I love peanut butter but I can have 2x the pb2 for LESS calories than one serving of regular! Try it at least once if you have not yet. My only thing is you might have to play with…

Wow. Thanks for the review. You're the second person I've ever heard from that has even heard of these. I'll have to keep close track of my dongle. Seriously, how do you not laugh when you say dongle.

Money's tight, times are hard, so here's your f-ing birthday card! Happy Birthday!

Unlock trailer, and all tool bins. Turn on heater in trailer. Get generator out, gas it and start it. Turn on lights, start a pot of coffee, turn radio on low. Turn on computer. Sit down in warm trailer with fresh cup of coffee, eat breakfast and play on MFP and FB.

Guess no ones ever heard of them?
-
Better get started asap!

....?

Bump, anyone?

Check out PB2 by Bell Plantation. Peanut butter powder you mix with water. I think it's amazing (and I could probably live on peanut butter) and only 45 cal per 2 tbsp! 1.5g. fat and 5g protein!

Born and raised in north St. Louis county (Hazelwood West, 1998 before anyone asks!) and transplanted to St. Peters! Feel free to add me as a friend!

You know, in Missouri, 'Hoosier' is a derogatory term?

Wassup pops? My family is everything to me, and I've sent a FR!

Something to try for sure

59 days! Still time to prepare! Who else is willing to commit to a healthier life?!

I can remember watching the movie Armegeddon in the theater with my girlfriend at the time. When Bruce Willis takes Aflecks spot and gives that speech, I wasn't sobbing, but the tears were rolling. Lets just say, I'm 6', 240# at the time probably, and somehow I didn't notice the 6'8" 275# Michael Duncan Clark look-alike…

I've heard this before: "Get up early and start exercising before your brain realizes what's going on" Also, a workout pal, (and MFPals) to keep you accountable really help. "I really don't feel like hitting the gym, but I know 'Jim' will be there waiting for me right after work because its 'Tuesday'"

Just the tone makes this seem really fake. I'm shocked I'm the first person to say so.
