I wouldn't focus so much on a single metric for such a short term period. Hang in there and look at your success over the longer period. Your program is clearly working.

Go.go.go this is awesome!

You are planning for this already so I think you'll have success. Stay mostly on the outside aisles of the grocery store where the fresh wholesome (non-processed) foods are.. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables. Stop on the way and het a hearty whole grain bread like "Food for Life's" 7 Sprouted Grains and some nuts for…

Congratulations on your academic accomplishments and it's nice to see your mindful of your physical health and well being. Keep tracking and you'll be in perfect form when you finish up and launch that career!

Hey, it happens. it's good you are back on track. For me it helps to acknowledge that it as a lifestyle change rather than a temporary deviation from "my normal". Healthy food and exercise is the new me! Also, yes, going to spinning or kickboxing classes so that it becomes a habit and a social activity seems like a great…

There are lots of options listed below. I had a love for sweet tea myself. I don't drink it now. I'm not certain I would be able to ingest that much sugar in a beverage without getting a little queasy today. For me, the longer I stay away from the sugary drinks and soda the more naturally hydrated my body becomes. Keep up…

I am not a P90X'r but I can encourage you to do everything but give up and go to KFC! Of course, if you can't resist the urge by yourself and the smell of the fried goop outside the place doesn't keep you safely at a distance then you can count on me to come and stop you before you self destruct! LOL

Everyone else has this covered! I agree with them! Just say no to soda!:noway:

Hi, welcome. It's been a useful tool for me. It should work out for you too. Welcome and good luck.

Hey, regret your loss, welcome back. It's always tough when you've been that busy and then you've got a gap. It take a moment or two to adjust. I'm glad you are back.

Hi, have a little chocolate if you like now and then but just not a lot. For me, it was just a matter of putting down the sugar and salt for a few days, maybe a week. After that I didn't really want it any more. It just seems to me that the more you eat of those two things the more you want. Now I eat some now and then but…

It's great to hear of your successful completion of nursing school. Your faithful work is paying off. Congrats on your decision to take care of yourself.

I agree with others here...check your other body metrics (inches, blood pressure, etc.) because the work you are doing is paying off. Keep in mind that lean muscle tissue weighs more than fat, it looks good on you and it will also burn more calories when you are doing nothing. Keep your focus on overall health and well…
