My ex-boyfriend. He decided to end our relationship of 2 years because ''I was no longer his type". He told me that he doesn't think I would be able to lose weight EVER because of my health condition (I was put on a hormone medication that made me gain weight). I was shattered because I was 18 at that time, that was my…

1) Being awkward sized - That frustrating time when you are too small for a size and too fat for the lower one! 2) Being cold in winter! 3) Change in people's attitude towards you - Suddenly, people who were not-so-nice starts becoming so friendly, guy friends will be extra nice to you etc and some people, who were your…

Unless you have any health condition (recent surgeries, pregnancy, diabetes, kidney problems etc) that requires a doctor to monitor your caloric needs, food/ liquid intake and so on, it is better not to get a doctor involved much. I'm not saying that doctors don't know anything, it's just that most doctors can't/won't give…

Few people like my mom and this friend of my mom noticed difference when I lost about 10 pounds. However, I didn't see any change till I lost about 25 pounds..My friends and acquaintances have started noticing after I lost about 30-ish pounds..

As far as I know, aspartame or other artificial sweetners are ok for human consumption and is not detrimental for health if taken in reasonable amounts. However, diet drinks shouldn't be consumed by people who suffer from phenylketonuria and intolerance to artificial sweetners/and caffeine (Most diet drinks have caffeine).…

From your question, it seems like you want to have more carbs. And that's fine. You wouldn't have trouble losing weight as long as you're on a calorie deficit. May be you should increase your carbs by 5-10%?
-
If you are on a calorie deficit even after increasing your intake, you'll continue losing weight. The rate of weightloss may slow down (or not, it depends on the individual). As long as you're eating healthy and logging everything, it won't be a problem :)

Eat well! Your body needs those extra calories to fight off those viruses.

A year back, My ex-boyfriend dumped me for gaining weight after being put on medication for rectifying a hormone defect I had. He was really mean about it. He told me that he wouldn't introduce me to his parents or acknowledge me as his girlfriend if I won't lose weight. He also told me that I was too lazy to do anything…

Water has helped me in my weight loss journey. I drink about 12-14 glasses of water daily. Water keeps me fresh and hydrated. It flushes out sodium and prevents water retention and bloating. Sometimes, thirst appears like hunger pangs, so drinking lots of water prevents me from ingesting extra calories. I generally feel…

First of all, let me tell you that your ''friend'' is a super *****. You should stop hanging out with her. Seriously, I can't believe that your friend has the audacity to tell you that you will stay fat forever. There is NOTHING in the world that you cannot do if you work hard. Now, the answer to your question is yes, My…

The most painful memory I have is my boyfriend (ex) breaking up with me after I gained quite a few pounds after being put on hormone medication. This devastated me because I knew he was not happy with the way I looked and was starving myself to lose weight. He dumped me after I lost 10 pounds. This happened 3 years back.…
