I like to have big, protein-filled breakfasts... like 500 cals, 30g protein. It gives me tons of energy, and I prefer to have a smaller dinner.

Same thing has happened to me since I was a kid. I also highly recommend not trying to walk through the black - I have hit the floor trying to do that before. Sometimes if I sit down when I feel it coming on, I'll still open my eyes and I'm lying on the ground. Be careful!

It could be your measuring cup... mine are stupid, only the 1/4 and 1 cup are accurate... 3 1/3 cups or 2 1/2 cups cause the 1 cup to overflow... Nope - I only live a few doors down so I boot it home and shower there. Then I can relax over my coffee while my hair dries, rather than spending however long trying to blow dry it so it doesn't freeze on the walk home. I'm sure I don't look beautiful, and in -30 weather it's a little chilly when I'm sweaty, but I live!

I have a Polar FT7 and my numbers sound just like yours. I am not too worried about it - I am more concerned about the really high calorie burn I get because I have to wonder if it's right!

Sonoma Valley, mostly, with a day trip to San Fran and a few other towns nearby. It was short - about 5 days -but wonderful! And I just got back from a trip to Germany, and Munich was one of my very favourite parts! Enjoy!

I'm 5'10, currently 165 but my favourite, happiest weight was at 140. I once was at 130, but was way too skinny. With a bit of muscles this time around, I'm happy anywhere between 140-150. Totally depends on your frame! When I was 180 I didn't look nearly as good as some of the girls on here!

I also have to agree... As Sidesteal said, a scoop of ice cream is not going to make you fat. But for some people (sugar addicts), it's really hard to stop at one scoop. I do find that a few weeks of "sugar detoxing" really helps you appreciate the sweetness in small amounts of sweets, or in fruits, and eliminates the…

I know that the less sugar I eat, the less sugar I crave. A week or two of eliminating candies, chocolates and desserts helps a lot to control my cravings!

I have the FT7 - I can't compare it to the FT4, but I find the FT7 easy to use and I know it measures my heart rate accurately... I just can't shake the feeling that it overestimates my calories burned - but not everyone seems to find that!

As the others said... brush your teeth and eat gum. I'm so bad at doing that, though... I never do it because I know I want to eat some dough. And then I eat a ton of dough. If you are serious about it, chomp on that gum!! :)

I'm also 5'10. My highest was about 175 and my lowest was 130. On my body, the 130 was far too low and I found 140 to be better. But that was definitely a skinny-fat 140, and so with a bit of muscles I think 145-150 is perfect on me. Right now I'm 160 and looking to lose those 10-15 lbs.
