2016. I will not drink eggnog until the end 2017, more like 2018. Detoxes should only be done every other year and are not for the feint of heart. IMO. :p

One month to lose 25 pounds? You should try to do it sensibly and lose one pound per week, you may inadvertently lose it faster. But not in one month. Sorry.

When you work out your ab muscles they have a tendency to get bigger. As long as you are counting calories accurately, you will be fine. Keep at it!

I'm old too but if I start some new type of exercise, muscle soreness lasts no more than one week. Have you had a physical lately?

How about log what you eat for an entire week and then shave off 100 calories everyday until you lose those five pounds. If you do this, you will have a better understanding of what maintenance calories are.
