AB Ripper X from P90X is really good ab workout! If you do not want to buy it I suggest plank, plank, plank and more planks. They really tighten up your entire core + there are many way to vary it...

I am definitely a fan of the "Both" approach! Why not make a circuit where you can incorporate both? I usually make circuits where i switch between cardio and strenght. Fruits contains sugar and carbs and dried fruits can have a quite high calorie content. Nuts are high in fat! If you want to lose I suggest eating totally clean and more like 100 % paleo puls cutting out fruits. Maybe try it out for about a month. I promise you will feel great. I looked through your diary and eating 700-1100 calories a day is just way to little! Also it doesn't seem you get enough fiber. I would really recommend upping cal and eating way more veggies to get some more fiber. It is okay to eat calories if they come from a good source!
