Bump We will be trying IVF again this spring unless we get a miracle in the next few months. I'd be interested to hear if others have heard about this and have more info on it.

I have used Provera many times, I do not have any side effects of it and my experience has been different each time. Usually it too me till the last pill or even a few days after I was out of pills for AF to start and they said that was normal, it can take up to a week after your last pill for it to start so don't be…

I have read from a few chat rooms about Pregnitude helping regulate cycles and also helps ovulation and better eggs. I have just started using it myself this week so do not know if it really helps but I have read a lot of posts with people saying it helped them. It's just follic acid and myo-inositol powder you put in…

What kind of detox is this? I want to try something that might kickstart some weight loss.
-
I have taken Provera which is basically the same thing but that is the brand I always get perscribed. I really do not ever get my period on my own so my Dr says that it is good for me to do after about 50-60 days on my cycle cause it is good to just clear everything in your uterus out, plus hope that it kick starts my…

I have that feeling too! My friends are now starting to get pregnant and are trying when I have been trying for almost 2 years now. My sister in law is about 6 years younger and in the last 3 years have had their two girls while not having the best relationship/ marrige. It really sucks and makes me sad and uncomfortable.…

The metformin should be stopping the cysts forming in your ovaries. I also had no real symptoms except I was not getting a cycle on my own, only with the help of Provera, and I did gain a lot of weight at once in my early 20s- about 30 lbs in a year! I also thought that it was just cause my metabolism finally caught up to…

I went in on Tuesday for my first appointment and it was great, I felt stuff right after the appointment too. I was on day 4 of my cycle but I could feel some cramps when I wasn't having any that day and then I did feel my ovaries a bit, plus some sensations in the other areas I had needles. Next week I go back and she…

BBT is your basil body temp, it is a thermometer that takes your temp to like the 10th degree or something. Like mine today was 96.71 and yesterday it was 96.99, you follow it to the exact degree and if there is a significate increase that would mean you ovulated the day prior.
-
I know that my Dr told me she would keep me on Metformin for a few months if I got pregnant, it is supposed to help with preventing miscarrage so I'd mention that to your Dr and see what they think.
-
I think it is difficult myself. I started doing it this summer after we did not succeed with our first IVF treatment. I went for about 50 days with no luck showing any change in my temp, I was also checking by cervical mucus and could tell I did not ovulate by that as well. I got sick of waiting and called my doctor after…

I have set my first appointment with a accupuncture and herbal medicine place so I'm excited to see if anything will help!

Hello all! I am 29 years old and have been married for 2 years as of this month! Me and my husband are TTC and have not been too successful yet. I found out last year I have PCOS which makes it harder for me to conceive and also harder to lose weight. We have done a few fertility treatments and before we try another round…

Any news?!

Please keep me posted on how things go for you! In the last month I have not been doing very good with diet and exercise, we had a grandparent die and since then I have not been able to get back into it. I am starting again now and hoping to keep it strict! I have not gotten my period again and I am on cycle day 56, so I…

So it is the promoflo that is getting you to have monthly cycles? Is that like Provera where you take it after not getting your period or is it something you continuously take?
-
Good luck to you in you 2WW! My friend was successful after her second try with clomid and IUI so hopefully you are too!
-
Well I do not think that I ovulated, my temp keeps going up and down sticking aroung that mid-high 96 mark. So I'll just continue to keep track. I might do Provera to get my cycle to start over again since I am on day 39 today.
-
I am exactly in your same situation! I am 29 and was on BC from the time I was 16 till almost 2 years ago when me and my husband wanted to start trying. I did not get my period and my regular Dr did not want to do anything until a year of trying unsuccessful. I had a feeling something was not right so my friend told me…
-
I've heard people have had success but I would also like to know more about that. I am taking maca root supplements to help regulate my cycle.
-
Yeah my cycles are regular too on BC pills but I don't want to get on them cause I want to get pregnant and I've been on and off them a few times and my cycle did not continue after I stopped them.
-
I do take my temp as soon as I wake up, it's just my wake up time can change about a hour depending if I showered the night before or not. So I do take it before I even sit up, my alarm goes off and I reach for my thermometer and use it as I am still laying in bed. But I suppose other things can effect that too. I'll see…

I am using a App on my cell phone to chart and I do it basically the same time each morning, roughly between 5 am and 6 am. Is that too far of a difference in time? I will see if it keeps going up over the next few days and then I guess I should know if it was ovulation or not. Do any of you have irregular periods/ long…
-
Yeah I'm not sure what is best to do. I don't want to get the ovulation sticks cause you only get 7 in a pack and they are so expensive that I would have no idea to even use them! I know others that have done this so thought I'd try it. Guess we'll see if anyone else has had luck or if there are any other suggestions for…
-
That is great!! I started charting too after my last cycle, I think I might have ovulated just yesterday but not totally sure have to do some research on my temps to see if I did or not. But I should actually be getting my cycle now if it is on track from the last cycle length. Not sure it will be though cause June was my…

I guess I'll have to get a HRM! I do enter me height and weight on the machine but it's still off from what I have on MFP. I have wanted a HRM anyways for other things I do so I will be going out to get one. Thanks all!
-
My friend told me strength training is better too. Make a plan for some of the things you can do with your injury and make a circuit training out of it. Just keep your HR up.

We have been trying for about a year and a half now. Found out last June I have PCOS after being on BC pills since I was 16, don't know how long i have had this but I feel it was when I turned about 20/21 years old. Last July I started Metformin and that cleared out the cysts and from August to end of September we did 3…

Yes I got mine from GNC but there are lots of places online too. So I started them last Wednesday and I started getting some light spotting, it was a light brown color like I get before my period would start. But that is all that I had from Friday to last night, it never became a full flow period. Not sure why that is and…

What kind of surgery will you be doing? I did the HSG test, I did not like it, was uncomfortable. My tubes ended up being fine but yes I know they talked about concerns to do it if I happened to be pregnant. I've been going through infertility treatments since last August without much success, I have only been able to…
