Almost 100 lbs lost eating anything ! Portion control is the key !

Personally, If I know I'm going to be in front of the tv and pigging out for 2 or 3 hours I would plan for it, for example I would eat less or exercise more before the tv event. Basically, earning the pleasure of ENJOYING a good tv time.

Fruits, veggies, nut, hot air popcorn.

I've given up the habit of overeating and being a couch potato.

The very reason I'm counting calories is because I like all kind of foods including your list, so there's no "no-no foods" for me. Everything with moderation.

I always save some calories for the night snacks ! (pop corn, piece of bread, decaf, or any leftovers).

I've noticed that when I go over a 750 calorie meal I start to feel as if ate a lot of food (over eat feeling) and that last a few hours.

Honestly I don't like to eat the same food everyday but I've noticed that I've always eat the same food at least every few days, so eventually you learn the caloric value of all your repeated food.

If I know ahead that there's going to be doughnuts or something similar I'll just workout a little harder so I can at least have one.

omnivore ! My cows are already vegetarian. :)

Maybe not all of them but yeah ! I tried both ways and both had worked (weight loss) for me but I feel better when I eat them back.

I had tried it before and it works, the problem is that I forget to do it every time I eat. :( I think it'll be good to have a little ritual before eating like a five minute relaxing time or something like that.

I agree, laziness is one of the factors why too many people are overweight but in my case it was a mix of that plus my ignorance about food as energy, see I'm still learning how to eat (fill my tank) properly.

How would I like my heart attack? By eating the unhealthy pleasures of life or by stressing out on what to eat? Definitely by eating what I like, just kidding! Life is to short and youth even shorter so just have whatever makes you happy with MODERATION.
