I have hypothyroidism too. I take levothyroxein/synthyroid. It works for me. It helps my levels stay where they should be. I often wondered how hard it is to lose weight. The comments above give me hope! If you happen to want to be MPF friends...send a message about having hypothyroid issues so I know. Thanks for the post.

I am hypothyroidism. Weight has been an issue for me trying to keep it off. I'm more tired as well. I'm on medication Levythyroxine (spelling off) 100mg. I'm hoping it will help soon. They just tweeked my dosage. It's no fun having this and wish my weight wasn't affected by it but it has. Good luck to you.

Thanks for the input Lee. I'm on Day 3 and i could put it t 1300 cal. What about 1250 :) I think i'll try that. What do you think? I'm only 5'3" so i'm not sure what calorie intake anyway. I was told by a nutritionist one time 1200 but that was a little while back. I've gained a little since then so maybe it is a good idea…
