Lol thanks guys... I've had 2 runs so far in them and I'm feeling very pleased. I have a stupid question but my chest looks like a car crash! The friction from my HRM!! What to do??? Will the glide stuff work? :-)

Hi, well done on your fitness programme but I agree with Stef I wouldn't worry too much. I am originally from the mother country too and there are pubs and parks and rest stops every 20 yards ;-) I reckon just do a half hour or 60 min walk everyday and you will be all set when you get there. Also if you get painful feet…

Hi guys, they are Ravenna 5s I think they are called. Yes I don't really care what they look like I just want to put a stop to odd nagging issues. I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes. I have just had a run with them and they took a bit to get used to as I'm used to minimalist shoes but I soon got into it :-)

I have a couple of friends who have been doing this diet for hmmm maybe a year. They are about 3 pounds lighter than when they started!!! Obviously it doesn't work for everyone! I don't really get it but you could give it a bash for a month and see. Ultimately though you'd probaly be better just making a complete lifestyle…

Well I guess it depends how sick you are? If it's likes just a sinus infection you might need some antibiotics and you will be good to go in 5 days. I can't think of many cold type infections that would put you out for more than a week. Then get back on it :-)

Gahhh I don't know the answer to this. I used to live in an apartment and I couldn't even walk across the floor without the neighbor complaining!!! Maybe find out when they are going out to work or something and do it in that time!!!! :-s

Oh... And I used to be 32 kilos heavier ;-) Another bit of advice go to a proper running store and get shoes fitted. So you don't get the shin splints and the suchlike. I've just done that and am hoping it will change my life :-)

This!!! It's so true. I am a new runner too, I can now do 5 k non stop but crikey it used to be sooo hard to run for 20 seconds!!! And now I'm training for a 10 k in March! You can do it for sure. Everyone is cheering you on. Nobody is looking at you they are too busy keeping their own pace and if they look at you they are…

That zombie one sounds fun! It didn't work with my music programme though so I did a c25k style one. Do it :-)

Gosh you're story could be mine! We were like russian athletes growing up then life got in the way and although fairly sporty still there were times of nothing and times of fat and sporty!! I think it's a common story because you get so involved in doing everything for your family and nothing for yourself! Look at you now…
-
Absolutely :-) this was the day I became a runner :-)))

Hello Am Harish feel free to add me. I do have an ulterior motive as I'm crazy about indian vegetarian food and may want to pick your brains for recipes :-))) good luck with your programme :-)

You could try some pea protein, haven't tried it myself. There's plently of vegans out there with plently of muscle, I know a few. I also know their diets are *kitten* hot. Why are you wanting to go vegan? Just curious. I'm vegetarian but don't eat dairy but I do eat eggs from my chooks. There's a range of things you can…
