Im pushing 320 ( heaviest I've ever been, issues have arose with my thyroid ): ), and am just now getting up to 18-20 in pants. I've always been more top heavy though. I'm also 5'9

I originally had an UP by jawbone and that band broke me out something serious. I now have a fitbit that my lovely boyfriend bought me for Christmas and it hasn't broke me out yet. I would like to get an AW only bc I have the iPhone tbh and I think they look nicer.

<3 I cant wait to get to this size. I feel like 170 is good for me despite it still being "overweight" bc I'm also 5'9 and relatively larger framed in my opinion. Love this thread. I'm currently 5'9 and 245 lbs (down 30 from my start), working towards 170 and this is a good motivator. I fell off my plan the last month and…

I lost 30 lbs in 6 and a half months. Doable. I also love eating taco bell, cupcakes, cookies, chocolate milk and giant bowls of cereal and sweet tea is like crack to me. I just try to stay in my calories (I've been so bad lately but I'm fixing it!) So you should just probably step back, reevaluate what you're actually…

I started because I honestly don't like myself. Not just physically (though that was a good part of it), I just felt crappy all around. Depressed, anxious, very overweight. I've lost 30 lbs in the last 7 months, could I do better? yeah. Am I happy with that number? Absolutely. In these 30 lbs I've learned to like myself a…

Planks!!! They are definitely helping with mine! I'm trying to make sure I do a good mix of strength/toning exercises as well as loads of cardio. I also always take the time to lotion up and stuff after my showers and try to maintain a good level of overall hydration because I am TERRIFIED of getting the skin flap there.…

Sugar is my #1 problem. Anything sweet. I'm more of a cake/cookie/ice cream gal myself vs like sodas though. Trying to focus on weaning it back some.

I keep one of the giant deer park or big gatorade bottles full of ice cold water on my desk at work all day. I refill it 2 or 3 times usually at work. At home I usually have a glass of sweet tea at dinner and water for the rest of the night. I drink a lot more at work than home though because I (as snobby as this sounds)…

Got my mile to 15 min 36 sec, I haven't done anything under 17/18ish ever in my life. However I'm totally feeling myself slipping into my lazy routines and wanting to skip working out. Trying to keep optimistic and moving forward. I did break my plateau i've been struggling with for 6 weeks also! I started seeing the…

I eat not "healthy" foods often myself and I'm down 25 lbs on my way to 100 so far. I just eat less of them than I used to so I can stay in calorie goal for the day and bam. look at me go! it can be done, just try to monitor it a little better or see if you can get whoever shops to pick you up a few healthy options. Fresh…

No, not too sensitive at all. I'd be offended just as much.

I love food. Basically if it tastes good, I'm gonna fricking eat it. Though these days I do try to have a LITTLE self control, and eat LESS of it, but I still sometimes let the food get the best of me and just eat and eat and eat.

lololol. not quite. I use the general rule of thumb of half your body weigh in ounces, so I aim for roughly a gallon. (I'm 250. Divided in half is 125. So it'd be 125 ounces, and a gallon is 128. /shrug). Do I always drink that much? No, but I try to stick pretty close to it. I may drink less or more depending on what i've…

i literally have spare ribs marinating in a touch of apple cider vinegar and spices rn for dinner. nom nom nom.

I pee in the shower. My stepdad used to also fill gallon jugs with sand and put them in the tank to save water per flush as well.

I'm never like ravenously hungry. But I find that directly after eating the healthy foods, it FEELS like I'm still super hungry. I know that I'm not usually, so I finish what I'm currently eating, wait probably half an hour and I'm fine. Like when I ate lunch today, I felt so hungry after I finished. I sat down, waited for…

I'll send ya an add! I'm 5'9 SW: 275 CW: 251.2 GW: 175-180 (this will probably change a little as I get closer to it)

I love bacon myself. I usually only enjoy it once or twice a week though, unless i buy turkey bacon. Which is also fantastic, doesnt shrink so much, and has less calories (:

We cant give you motivation. perhaps help you along. I know making more friends here and seeing their progress in their journeys is super helpful to me, as well as being positive and supportive of them. Sometimes when I really want to eat the junk or not do the work out I look on tumblr (instagram, anywhere on the…

Just gotta keep going. Obviously if you went from a size 26 to 16 they have to have slimmed down some what. Take measurements, that's really the only way to ever know if they are decreasing. Sadly you can't spot reduce. I too suffer from thunder thighs.

I love my mfp friends and while I've been in kind of rut I really appreciate the ones that stuck through it with me. I'm always open to new friends tho, I've got quite a bit to lose still (22 lbs down, 78 to go!). Pushing hard, just got myself some weights and began doing C25K (I hate running so much but it feels so good…

Bullying is not okay regardless of weight. This does seem like a very woe is me article though, and I just ain't got time for that kind of attitude. Its not okay to be morbidly obese and no one should ever tell anyone that it is imo Body positivity is great and all but, health is more imporant.

all of the love for this. I have seen way to many "well my S/O eats garbage/isnt commited like i am" bashing posts. Its refreshing to see someone taking accountability for their own actions That being said.....a treat now and again will not harm you or your journey. Just don't over do it. If you're too hard on yourself it…
