Eating 5-6 smaller meals a day keeps your metabolism going. If you only eat 3 meals a day for example, your body doesn't know when it will get food next and will try to keep as much fat as possible.

I was planning on waiting for the fitbit flex to come out to buy, but I discovered the jawbone up a few weeks ago and bought it instead. I have been using it non-stop and love it so far. Do some research about soda..that's what I did today. I'm not a big soda drinker but once in a while I do. My mom is a diet coke lover so I was reading her some research and it is pretty disgusting.

I go to bed around 12-1. I usually eat breakfast around 10, lunch around 2, dinner around 6:30 or 7, then at about 9-10 I eat a plate of healthy snacks (fruit, veggies, crackers).

Natural sugar is good. Try to avoid the processed, fake sugars. Just focus on calories.

I think it could be a 20 pound difference. Even if it isn't, don't get discouraged. It could be muscle gain and fat loss. Search "scale" on amazon. You can get them pretty cheap with free shipping. Plus you can see ratings. I just ordered one and love it.

I'm 18 too, and was a vegetarian for 2 years. I suggest... -hard boiled eggs -salad -fruits -veggies -whole wheat pasta if any pasta -nuts -soy burgers/crumbles (If you buy the soy crumbles, you can make sloppy joes & tacos..I thought they were really good!)

Google "workout playlist" and there are lots of different ideas! If you like certain types of music, type that in too. There are a lot of good playlists..that's where I got mine!

Yeah, I have logged every day for the past 3.5 months. I still struggle some days, so I am not going to try to stop now. I think if I did stop, I would fall apart.

Don't give up!! You could be gaining water weight or muscle! You can try measuring yourself (stomach, hips, thighs, etc) and see if those are changing! If you are consistent, you will lose! Feel free to add me if you want! I try to comment and help motivate, and I also have an open diary! Good luck!

Mine's open as well. I eat 1300 calories a day and I am 5' 3" and 126.6 pounds..hoping to get to 115.

Pretty close to it. If I have a cherry, I don't put it in. Now if I have 3 cherries, I will. If I take one little tiny bite of something that say my mom is eating, I don't count it. Other than that, I count everything!
