  • I'll join!! I'm wanting to be at goal by Christmas so this is perfect!! Add me too if you want
  • This sounds like a great group of people! If you want to add me id love the encouragement and accountability! I'm currently losing baby #4 weight. I started out the highest with this one and then after delivery I even gained some :( I got up to 220 and was so miserable. As an all-state athlete I was disgusted with myself.…
  • I'm a mother of four. Youngest is now 18 months old and I still have 30 pounds to go. My first two were so close (20 months apart) I didn't get all the way down to my goal but got really close. After my second and third I got to my goal and enjoyed it for a few months then got preggers again
  • I like all your suggestions! Here are mine!! 1. Drink half my body weight in oz of water a day. (Something I've always struggled with!) 2. Eat more veggies at lunch (I'm a teacher and usually it's just a sandwich or heated up leftovers) and to plan for lunches better 3. Get back to running 3 days a week and p90x three days!
  • I weigh more than my 6'2" hubby :( and he is training for army green beret Yes let's put a stop to it!!
  • Starting weight 210 Easter goal 190 Ultimate goal 150 (at least in the 150's) :)
  • Yay! Great way to jump start the year! I'm just coming back from a little over a year break. Baby # 4 is almost a year old now! My ultimate goal is 60 pounds away. I've lost and gained the same 40 pounds with each pregnancy, but with my first, who is 7, I kept a little on and gained a little more with the last so that's…
  • Agree^^ This is my fourth pregnancy. 30 weeks now Baby could be head down, but as long as she, you did say girl I think, isn't engaged, as in moving down as well, should be fine. They change positions a lot sometimes. If it's cramping, what she said^ lol. Also think about how much you are lifting. I've had to restrict my…
  • Lol! I'm not the only one!!! Yes on the sides mostly and where my bra runs across the front. I wouldn't say mine are huge but I'm usually a normal C and now a DD. I've been exfoliating really good and tons of lotion
  • I can so relate! This is my fourth pregnancy. I'm at 28w5d gained 25 pounds (my other three pregnancies I gained most in the middle too, but not this much) 25 was the most I had gained with my other three and that really bums me out :( Also I'm right 200 pounds and that bums me out even more. And... I've also gained a lot…
  • Wow! I'm amazed at the "small" gains. (Maybe I'm just gaining to much:( ) I'm 28 weeks 5days and have gained 25 pounds. I gained 5 pounds in both July and August but then haven't gained any since beginning of September. And with my first three pregnancies I gained almost all my weight in the middle too so hoping its the…
  • We are having girl! Had an US at 18w2d. We did a reveal cake. My mum was there and the lady told her and mum made the cake. We really didn't care either way. We have two boys and a girl already. I always said "logistically" a girl will be "easier" to configure bedrooms in our three bedroom house lol. And that my math brain…
  • I did one round of P90x then I got pregnant YAY! anyways... I lost about 15 pounds and went from a small 38D to a comfortable 36C (which is what I've generally always been since high school.) All the chest exercises "should" help with lift. That was the biggest difference for me and I didn't mind if I went from a sagg-ish…
  • Oh my!! That is hilarious! Mine has said things like that before. When my youngest was only 4 weeks-ish old we had a retirement party for my mum. He had seen a picture from then and was like wow I didn't realize how much you've lost. Then he starts stammering trying to explain what he meant lol. Like not that you were…
  • Yay! Another first timer! hehe This is my fourth and my doctor is so funny at my appointments. "Do you have any questions?" "Nope, everything seems fine." "good!" Than about 15 minutes of chit chat lol I love to see the excitement and wonder at all the new things you newbies experience. Takes me back, ya know :) Good luck…
  • Thanks Mommy Hood and Jen!! Congrates to you too Jen!! I will have boy, girl, boy, girl and that makes my math brain happy lol Mrs. Hood (LOL) I understand! We really didn't care this time, we both had our preference but not like I REALLY WANT one or the other. Maybe have him do the cake stuff, like ordering and such, that…
  • ^^This. I'm expecting our fourth tho. Not just "oh wow you don't look old enough to have four kids" shocked but "you look like you've had no kids, much less four" kinda shocked
  • 18w5d We had our reveal cake last night!!! We went out to my favorite restaurant. It's a GIRL!!! That's what I was wanting, but I really didn't care. It would have been great to have the three boys and our little girl (although she would have been super spoiled by Daddy instead of just plain spoiled LOL) In 20-24 weeks we…
  • I don't really care. I'm "white" European and Native American. I have neat stories about my great grandmother who was full Irish. And my married name is Norwegian and (most of the time) hard to pronounce. When someone completely messes it up I say "It's ok, it's Norwegian. Not that my husband is, just his name" But he…
  • I'm in no way saying that one should simply eat everything the want whenever they want just because they are pregnant, but be proud of your body and what's going on. YOU ARE MAKING A HUMAN! How awesome is that?!?! Every pound gained is evidence of a growing baby. Just continue to eat healthy and exercise and your body will…
  • I agree with the flavored tea. I also make infused/flavored water. It's not hard, seriously. Mostly pick your flavor of fresh fruit, maybe some herbs (mint is usually great) and you kinda mush them together then just add water. Just google it or look on pinterest. I have a hard time getting enough water when I'm not prego,…
  • Just had an appointment yesterday, low blood pressure (like really low) and I'm no longer immune to measles. But.... ULTRASOUND TODAY!!! It's my first one. We are going to find out gender, but do it in a reveal cake. Have the tech right it down and put it in an envelope and I have a good friend who is going to make us a…
  • Just got back from my OB appointment. 18 weeks exactly. My blood pressure was low 99/68 she said just to make sure I'm hydrated well and to be careful in case of dizziness. The biggest thing that came up was in my blood work. I'm no longer immune to measles :/ Hubby is worried! I am too, just easier to not show it to help…
  • welp. Got back from Vacay in Dallas yesterday and had an OB appointment today. Not the best planning lol. Weighed in at the doctor's office and I was up 5 pounds from a month ago :/ I'm at 15ish total gain and hoping to only gain 20. Not sure if that's realistic at 18weeks now. Oh well, I'm just planning to keep with my…
  • @Alexz With my first three I had about 3 weeks of "morning sickness" which was just feeling tired and I had to eat regularly or I would get really tired. With this one, It was more like 6 weeks. "most" likely you will start to feel better soon, at least by the start of 2nd trimester. Just take it easy when starting back…
  • I don't know how to post pics :( But my profile pic is yesterday, 16weeks! no ultrasound yet tho, will have it in 4 weeks
  • Aww!! I wont have an ultrasound until 20weeks. 4 weeks away!! I definitely have a bump. Fourth pregnancy, my uterus is stretched out lol.
  • I was doing P90x with extra running 3x a week before getting pregnant. Almost the whole first trimester I was sooo tired and didn't hardly do anything. Two weeks ago, I started back on P90x, only doing half the workout (about 30min avg) and using 2-5 pound weights (yeah they are pretty and pink-gag me) I love yoga so I do…
