I wore my HRM today for Sweat Intervals. I am 38 years old, 155 pounds and my heart rate pretty much stayed in the 160s which is high for me. I burned 330 in 33 minutes. This is my 4th week so I do have achieved a decent amount of cardio conditioning.

Heavy weights…not machines. Try strong lifts 5x5 or get the book Thinner, leaner, stronger by Mike Matthews…its filled with a wealth of info with a nutrition and workout plan for lifting heavy…i.e. deadlifts, squats, bench press, barbell rows…etc.

Hi! I think your diary looks great, personally. You probably are somewhat under-eating, especially if you are burning 600+ calories a day and eating 1200ish. I am curious what you do for exercise and how you calculate your calories burned. I will be following this thread to see what advice you get!

You will subtract the total number of calories you ingested from your total calorie burn. So, your calorie deficit would be 300.

Yes!!! I have the same thing. Some days I'm still sluggish, but others...I'm kinda silly. I'll be at my microwave and spontaneously decide to do 10 power jumps, LOL!

I've had the exact same problem! After changing the batteries and still not having any luck, I started taking mild soap with a dab of water and cleaning the electrode part of the strap...then rinsing it well under the tap water making sure to get it wet on both sides right before putting it on. I started P90X today! Its definitely way different than Insanity. It was a nice change. As for final numbers with finishing INsanity....My BF is still the same and my weight is still fluctuating between 147 and 150 so I am not sure what to think about that! I just did Insanity... I'm working on 30 day shred, but will start p90x/insanity hybrid here in a couple days and probably ditch the 30 day shred....or only do it on a rest day.
