Agree completely with the 2 above. Water weight, it is NEVER linear (the body seems to do weird things when it's in an adjustment phase), AAAAAND - you just had something happen to your body which created an inflamed/healing state requirement. The energies in your body are focusing on good healing instead of dropping…

Normal! Worst thing we can do is fret ;) Relax and enjoy the ride your body is still working its thing. As long as you keep true, plateaus or weird gains like that are your body taking the time to work through an adjustment :)

Edmonton here. Bariatric for 6 years with an 80 lbs regain on the way to losing again. Diagnosed binge eater and bulimic with a side of ADHD XD We got you! Any questions, I'm open to talking :)

Almost 6 years I had the VSG done and almost 5 ago I had a tummy tuck done for all the skin from losing 180 lbs. I began falling off track 3-4 years ago not long after the tummy tuck and have proceeded to regain 80 lbs. Very recently, through significant life events that have not been good, I have finally found out why I…

I've added you thank you. This is all new to me and I am certain I'm not alone. I'd like to know what the daily struggles and things that have helped are :)

Whenever my joints click or crack I go see my chiropractor. He seems to have ways to help me with everything haha

My bariatric program had me on no more than 3 meals a day - they told us we are not cows so we don't graze. My psychologist says I need to eat smaller amounts more frequently as I deal with 2 eating disorders...I say whatever works for you - trial and error I guess haha!

This!!!! This is amazing and just goes to show how important it is to take care of our brains :) Gives myself (newly-diagnosed) and many others inspiration. I'm sure! Thank you for sharing

It has taken me 32 years of life to finally ask for help, very much like what I am hearing from your situation, OP. It took a significant emotional incident at work to bring to light the sheer importance of getting that help.I'm a stubborn, perfectionist, which doesn't help much ha, and I am just at the very beginning, but…

Unfortunately part of it is nature. As we grow older and age our bodies add layers bit by bit to protect itself of injury. :( I don't wanna grow up let alone old XD

I had VSG March 19, 2013 and my fleur-de-lis tummy tuck this past June. Best decisions I ever made :) Any questions, please ask ^_^

I participated in my first ever pageant. Had so much fun dressing to the 9's and showing off my new self ^_^

Inquisitive!

I can do them, but for very short periods and from the knees instead of regularly. I want to work on that core and get it strengthened and functioning. My surgery was June 16, 2014 and I am glad yours was right around the same time o I know it's not just me lol

LOL not at all....you should see my collection haha!

Awesome job! Hope you took a lot of pictures along the way. It's so freaky looking back and thinking holy crap, can't believe that was me haha!

What the hell, I'll bite. 9.5!

1. You don't stress 2. You enjoy the company 3. You make a best guess for counting (better than not inputting anything by the sounds of you) 4. You move on and keep on trucking, living everyday. Trust me, it won't be the end of the world (bariatric patient here, my eating will never be like anyone else's ever again).

my favourite... Interactive Nutrition Isowhey Breezer Lemon Iced tea. Yummy! Tastes like a full bodied iced tea and helps increase your water intake as well ^_^

Have you considered aquafit for exercise while healing the knee? It's great cause the buoyancy reduces weight and impact on the joints . And the hot tub after is amazing! lol

Thank you. I was at my heaviest at 327 lbs. Always lost 30, gained 60, lost 30, gained 60. I don't usually respond to these threads because I know the backlash people get from so many people with that same narrow mindset. You'd be amazed how uneducated many really are. The body can survive just fine on less than 1200…

Cookies & Cream is my fave flavour...and how many "candy bars" can you say have THAT much fiber content haha! Note: Cut a bar into 4, and nuke them for a few in the microwave....Best "cookies" I've had in a long while :)

Definitely follow that other poster...I had a bad run-in with Danone yogurt once. 4 packages out of a 24 pack were what looked like curdled. The yogurt didn't homogenize well at all, so they send me at least $30 worth of coupons :)

^ Edit: I wouldn't let wifey squash the ambition the kid has. Let good habits develop early and they stay longer and stronger :)
