Lactose is a sugar, therefore a Starbucks coffee with no extra sugar is no more sugary than drinking a glass of milk! IIFYM, enjoy! :)

I've just had a nosy through all your profile pics and you look great! Totally unrecognisable from your "before" pic. Please don't be harsh on yourself. You've worked hard and achieved so much, but sometimes it takes the mind a lot longer to catch up and accept the new you. Just keep reminding yourself how much healthier…

I'm glad people understand :) It's so easy to get hung up on "failures" and ignore the bigger picture! I sat down last night and made a list of all the things I can do now that I couldn't do when I was 50lb+ heavier (shop in high street stores, bend over to tie my shoelaces, cross my legs comfortably!) - it made me feel so…

Great progress, you can really see the difference! Well done, be proud and keep up the excellent work :)

You rock! You have done so amazingly well. And by taking the time to write this post, you might actually be saving somebody's life.

Ahhh thank you to everyone who replied. Your words were just what I needed! I know I am capable of this, it's just self-doubt that ruins it for me! I've spent today planning out healthy meals for the rest of the week and I'm quite excited now at the prospect of spending time making healthy, yummy food. Fingers crossed I…

Sorry to be the killjoy of the thread, but I'm not sure the goal you have set yourself is very realistic. It has taken me a year to get from a size 22 to a size 16. I'm also going on holiday in 3 months and I'm aiming to be a 12/14 by then. Losing so much weight so fast is not healthy. You risk losing lean muscle mass and…

An elephant's penis and an average human brain! :)

Thank you! :) I don't dread having my photograph taken now, yay :)

Excellent job, well done :)

Yay, well done! I also have a pair of "fat pants" that I am keeping. I try them on from time to time to remind me of how far I've come :)

http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/654536-in-place-of-a-road-map-2-0-revised-7-2-12 This should tell you all you need to know :)

1. Drop the "all or nothing" approach 2. If you're eating to satisfy an emotional need, you'll never feel full because you weren't hungry in the first place 3. Listen to your body 4. Take your weight loss slowly - you can't rush a masterpiece 5. Being morbidly obese is not okay, whichever way you look at it 6. Fad diets…

Are you a smoker? Smokers are apparently more likely to store fat around the abdominal region.

Face comparison at 57lb down :)

I always find it unusual when people say "You've lost so much weight already, you don't need to lose another 3 stone (42lb)". Well, according to my dress size and BMI I do!

That's brilliant, bet you felt so pleased! :) I have a similar story. A few nights ago, I went into the shop where my own cousin works. She looked at me, turned around and did a double take, before saying "God, you can tell you've lost weight! I didn't recognise you!". The funny thing is, WE LIVE TOGETHER!!!

Congratulations, what an achievement! Can't wait until the day I can say I've lost 100lb too.

Why have you given up pasta? Do you have an allergy/intolerance?
-
1. Keep it simple, don't over-complicate things 2. Listen to your body 3. Give your body the nutrients it needs 4. Take it slowly - you can't rush a masterpiece

I managed for about two weeks on 1200 before I nearly chewed my own arm off. It was far too low for me. Yes, I want to lose weight but I don't want to spend every day feeling hungry and light-headed.

Here's a tip, OP. Instead of basing your choice of clothes on what they look like on a complete stranger in a magazine, go into the shop and try them on for yourself. It gets you out of the house and it's great fun.

Wow, well done! You looked great to begin with, but even better now :)
