Well, in about 75 days, I lost 25ish pounds and got great blood work improvements too. My real concern is that because of my plan, she eats more fat than before, but keeps the carbs. A recipe for disaster.

OK, that meal was last night.... Basically it was ground chickpeas with tons of herbs ground into them. Try black soy beans. The brand I use is just one net carb per serving. I think the brand is called "Eden Organics".... or similar.

Saag / Palek is basically creamed spinach with paneer and Indian spices.

Don't know where you live, but lettuce can be planted with temps in the 40's.... basically as soon as you can break ground. Same with Kale.

Well, she hates all of those veggies..... except she never had a turnip. She does eat a lot of veggies, but she likes hers raw, never cooked. And, I did say I would have a bite.

I probably would IF I had other choices, and knew I had diabetes and heart issues. This is not to say that I will never eat a carb laden meal again. I absolutely will. Yeah, I guess that could be true since I used to drink 100+ ounces a day, and now that my blood sugar is fairly close to normal, I am drinking 40 - 50 a day.

I had horrible breath for 4 - 5 weeks.... it is now back to normal, which can be normal.

Lots of roasted cauliflower with Olive oil, salt and pepper on it. ( prior to roasting ) Also, I make cauliflower rice and then cook it in chicken broth and butter.

OK, I guess this is a scale victory ( sorry ) but I went into the 250's today for the first time in close to 20 years... and it just felt good.
