I think that it does not matter as long as you weigh on the same one every time for your weigh in. It will show your progress either way!

Nice job. You can do it!

That was NO SMALL VICTORY.....any use of sheer willpower is a huge victory. Rock on you!

Well damn if that doesnt just SUCK. You know what? It feels like the end of the world right now, but IT WILL GET BETTER. Stay focused on yourself and the anger will come. It will, however, be quite exhausting. Dont lose your focus on you and dont let the emotions get the better of you. It will be a long time coming, but…

Awesome.....maybe I can use your pics for inspiration. Nicely done and what a difference.

I am TRULY a lazy cook...I hate it. So for breakfast I eat a Special K Protein Meal replacement bar. They are quite tasty and come in a couple of different flavors. They have enough protein and carbs to get me going in the morning.

According to my registered dietitican friend and personal weight loss consultant, a calorie is a calorie is a calorie when it comes to weight loss. When you are talking heart health, etc, that is when the type of calories begins to factor in. I think that based on this info plus the fact that you get good antioxidants from…

I totally understand where you are coming from. I used to be thin and athletic and when I got to be chubby and slow I felt like I simply could not do it. I have a long way to go and I am sure you do too, but you have to try. The days are gonna go by whether or not you eat right or exercise, but you dont want to look back…

Did you use the tools here to calculate your BMR and recommended intake? You should lose no more than 2 lbs per week. Good luck!

You must allow yourself a splurge day now and then and not beat yourself up for it. You are not a failure....get up and workout again tomorrow and put today in the past.

Though I dont have as much stress as you, I do have a stressful job, home life, etc. Even though I have to MAKE myself get up and go, church makes me feel better about it all. Hang in there. And make some time for you. You matter too!

WOW! WOW WOW WOW! That is inspiring and awesome. You go girl!

I prefer the elliptical for low impact! I also like it that the one at the gym will let you go "backwards" and that works a different muscle group. Good luck!

Hi there and welcome! First you need to get your starting weight and set a goal. Those who have a goal are many times more successful. I am doing workouts I can do at home because I am embarrassed of my weight because I have always been the "skinny" one in my family until the last 5 years when I really discovered stress…

I dont find it at all dumb! Way to go you!

I only count it when I elevate my heart rate. I love your goals BTW. I think I will do something like that myself. Thanks for the inspiration!:flowerforyou:
