I traded addiction of food for exercise. I was eating all of the time with almost no fat in my diet. I lost over 60 lbs in just over 2 months. That little adventure landed me a 10 day stay at our local hospital. My body threw a little revolt that almost killed me. That was 10 years ago. I finally got myself together enough…

I had it I my hip, after a round of steroid therapy, about 1 month.

I considered the barbaric route. I went to the seminar to learn about it and I found that for some people it was necessary to begin the journey. People who were sick, highly medicated, or in peril. In the end, I could not justify the risk of surgery when truly I hold all the power to lose the weight is the end anyway. Been…

My defining moment came when my husband bought me a gold necklace for Christmas and I had to return it because my neck was too fat. I wanted to die. I had been thinking a lot about it. Been afraid because last time I tried to get healthy it put me in the hospital for 10 days. I lost too much too fast. My husband was…

Now my husband if joining the cause and he has lost 14 lbs in 2 weeks. These guys are both pretty important to me. One just started taking insulin and the other metformin. So, I have…

I can testify to this, I lost 60 lbs in 3 months. Won a bed in the hospital and almost died. Seriously, it's just not worth it. It was my gallbladder. Stones got into my pancreas and doctor "nicked" my liver during surgery.

Ok, I was planning going on pushing my walking distance anyway so I am in. So far 11 miles for Feb. Just on the treadmill.

We make chicken, pork, beef, almost anything really by splitting the portion, butterfly it open lay in 1/2 slice of cheese and spinach or kale. Fold it over and bake. Feel free to season to taste. My favorite is supposed dried tomatoes.

I am 44 and lost about 60 lbs a few years ago and almost died. My body threw a little revolt. Gallbladder was unhappy, surgeon made a "booboo" removing it and so it ended quite badly. 10 years since all that and I am at it again. Safer this time but here is the thing...I did great for about a month. 21lbs to be exact. Now…

I started on January 2nd and today on January 13 I am down 12 lbs. I have followed the diet strictly. Only using the morning pills and shakes not the shot in the morning. I tried honestly but my body said, NO NO. Rejected that little contribution. I have lost weight in the past and gotten very sick from losing too fast so…

Seriously, It can be dangerous. I lost about 60 lbs in less than 3 month (about 5 lbs a week) and I did have some serious serious problems that kept me in a hospital bed for 10 days. I almost died. My advice is listen to your body and if you think you are losing too fast just consult your doctor. DO NOT take chances. I…

My son does this yearly for his wrestling team. He does 1 whey shake a day with a banana and peanut butter. He has the shake right after working out. He has inspired me to get back into shape and now I fast occasionally as well. Seems to be working.
