I would love to connect with others who have quite a bit to lose (I have about 85 lbs to lose). I have lost and gained again and again and now I am 47 years old and my kids are getting older and I would love to get it done this time. My daughter is graduating from high school in June and one of my first thoughts about that day is of all the pictures that will be taken and about how I want to feel confident and OK with myself. Crazy, right? Maybe a few of us could get together and help each other through this really long journey.

The picture thing is not crazy, or may be I am too. I have about 85 to lose to before November. Marine Corps Ball. Don't want to be the fat wife anymore. One day at a time my friend.

Our stories are incredibly similar, right down to those looming graduation pictures. I'd love to lose enough before May 28 to feel confident taking taking them.

Same boat here. 50lbs to lose then decided that before my son's senior night for sports I would be thin (he's a sophomore right now). Last week was senior night and I saw a bunch of mothers escorting their sons to the basketball court. Everyone's eyes were at them. That was a good reminder to myself that in 2 yrs that will be me out there. I have time on my hand but I know I can't procrastinate....gotta do it NOW!! Then maintain
