I use Pulsin Natural Whey Powder but they also have Pea, Rice and Hemp powders. I get mine via Amazon.

You don't want to add that IronPhyllida - she's a crazy one ;-) (<<Also in the UK and happy to add)

South London/Surrey here :)

<< In South London :)

Awesome work everyone! <<Mine

Buddies already, but I'm in Surrey on the London borders :)
-
South London / North Surrey here - active on MFP far more than I probably should be - logging every day and happy to have other active buddies :)
-
I wouldn't be without my MFP buddies and try to make sure I've something in common with most of them, be it location, sports, sarcasm and wit etc ;-)
-
Apparently this was one miracle that wasn't meant to be :)

I'm in South London - more active on MFP than I should be ;-) (Please do add a little something in your friend request though! - Not a fan of blank requests)

Love how you can get a general idea of people's age from their first games :) Mine would have been Super Mario Bros. and Tetris on NES, and Flimbo's Quest on C64. Then played a variety of DOS games on the 486 until we got our first Pentium II(!) and I got hooked on the Theme Park / Theme Hospital etc series of games until…

Restricting myself is against my religion - lol! In all seriousness, if you like it, enjoy it and build it into your daily/weekly meal planning for calories and macros, where's the problem? :)
-
Always good to have more active people from this side of the Pond :) Feel free to add
-
Also from the UK :) Although I joined early last year, I only really started taking my fitness seriously at the start of November and I've been religiously logging ever since. Very active, pragmatic, realistic (and sometimes downright sarcastically) supportive on personal news feeds but less so on the forums. Feel free to…

Hi (from the Surrey/London borders)! Welcome to MFP - it's always nice to see other Brits on here :) My main tip for MFP is to always log everything - good and bad. You are only accountable to yourself and it can help to spot trends :)

It was at that moment that I pretty much stopped listening to her to be honest. She obviously hadn't listened to a word that I'd said to her about what I wanted to achieve. I suspect she probably just gets a lot of women there who 'just want to lose weight' -backed up by the fact that she told me if I want to lose weight,…
-
I should stress, it's HER who believes that weight make women bulk, not me!!! I am just trying to figure out whether to go with her routine, or fork out to join the other gym nearby
-
From what I can recall, it's got: Smith machine Lateral Pulldown Leg Press Other assorted, seated machines Benches Dumbells Kettlebells Some fixed-weight bars
-
Thanks, that's really helpful :) Obviously *I* am aware lifting won't make me bulk, I was just amazed to hear it from someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about! Shame you're not in my bit of the Country, Jadeh :)
-
I did email her the SL5x5 programme and specifically asked if she could work out a similar programme using what we have downstairs! She's actually employed by a fitness company and on contract here, so is qualified (but apparently not up to date on her reading...)
-
Haha! Tourist ;-) I'm strongly suspecting I'll have to look at the other gym after payday... just damn inconvenient :(
-
o/ Hi new starters and old timers! :) I'm in South London (originally from Staffordshire) and I've been on MFP since November last year - loving it! Happy to add any ACTIVE members with similar outlook and goals - please do tell me a little about yourself in your friend request though! :)
-
Nice choice in websites :) FR sent!

Lindsey Stirling's Radioactive cover is pretty good - shame i'm less a fan of Pentatonix (spelling). She's done a good cover of the Zelda Medley :) I'm also a fan of Chase and Status for workouts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-w1nmEQ7IM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91V0Cqx9TzM

I'm 5'2", currently at 171lbs and aiming for 136lbs (or thereabouts) - basically want to get into a UK size 10/12
-
Haha - also QFT! I'm an EVE Online snob ;-) - spaceships and laser beams > magic and questing! Happy to add tho!
-
Bumping for inspiration - AMAZING pics ladies!

I'm 5'2", 30 years young and (re)started my journey just a month ago after falling off the bandwagon earlier this year. At my highest weight I was around the 190lbs mark (13 and a half stone) but I started last month at 178lbs. I've never, ever been skinny and I went to University a curvy UK size 14/16. I used to be fairly…

My mother's first comment when I told her I was starting with weights? 'Well you won't get TOO muscular, will you?' I mean - I've got a long ways to go before my fat gives way to definition, but seriously...? No amount of trying to discuss it with her would make her see that it's actually one of the best things to do when…
