  • OMG, this cracked me up! I'll have to keep that in mind, because they really don't like hearing that I lost it by EAT BETTER, MOVE MORE. Maybe I'll start calling it the EBMM Diet. People always like "diets." On that note, my mother has also joined the MFP wagon and has had success as well. And it really is just all EAT…
  • Yes, this is me! I'm on here daily and I'll like a few comments, if it's about calorie burns or that they've logged in for a milestone, but I don't like or comment on everything. I like getting food and exercise ideas as well. Feel free to add me!
  • You can send me an FR. I have between 60 and 80 left to lose, but I've already lost 60. I'm active on here everyday in some manner or another. :)
  • OMG.... removing a limb or 4 would be less painful than sipping Mag Citrate! LOL
  • My diary is open to friends, so you could add me. I actually have my sodium macro set to 2000. I don't have issues (yet) but like you, I have family history. I generally manage to stay within my sodium macro, or at least under 2500, but I don't eat a lot of processed foods, deli meat, prepackaged meals, canned anything…
  • Yes, it works. But like WW, or any program, it's what you put into it! I did WW and had success but this I find convenient. I use my cell phone and scan bar codes. Puts the stuff right in for me. So much easier than trying to figure out points values. I lost interest in that PDQ, got bored, stopped doing it. I have been at…
  • Hey There.... you can add me. I'm currently 227 but I started out 280, so I am familiar with the road. I try to respond on posts and give encouragement where and when I can! I have supportive people but it never hurts to have more!
  • I had hit a self-induced plateau but managed to break it this week. Down 10.
  • you can add me. I love the MFP support system, it's great. There's always someone else out there with the same issue, who is feeling unmotivated or discouraged or overwhelmed. And there's lots of positives, too! Lots of members who have lost big time, who have maintained for ages. And there are those (like me) who are just…
  • I'm in NS!
  • You can add me too. I do use the calorie tracker to keep me accountable, but I also try to do 400-500 calories burned every day. Some days are better than others, but I like the use of both. I started with 105 to lose, have already lost 35+ and once I hit my first goal, I'm going to decide whether I want to change to…
  • Feel free to add me. I still have 100+ to go, but down roughly 35-ish and planning to continue. I'm on here daily and try to be interactive. :)
  • I as well am a single mother of a high energy Lil Dude, full time job, and 100+ lbs to go. I have already lost 30 but definitely looking for lots of people to do mutual encouragement! Feel free to add me :)

  • No, I don't use that term. Always "Lifestyle Change." Of course, said with rolled eyes, but still true. Diets fail but lifestyle changes just are. Plus then, if my lifestyle changes, I didn't fall of the wagon, I just charted a new course! LOL
  • I first read a book called Eat To Live that really spoke to me, I made a lifestyle change that stuck with me for about 4 years. Then I just went back to eating crappy. This time, what started it again, it was because of two things: 1) something that happened with my child and I realized that if I didn't make some changes,…
  • Thought I should check in! I keep forgetting. SW 280 CW 255 25 pounds in 6 weeks. This week is a little rough.
  • If you can eat it, have Greek Yogurt. Also, celery with peanut butter is a good choice or an apple with peanut butter. Try veggies with hummus. I understand the feeling of not being hungry, this time through, I'm rarely hungry and I don't eat unless I am physically hungry. But it makes getting good calories a bit harder.…
  • Add me, as well SW 280 CW 258 GW 175 Looking for people with the same weight loss journey and who like to get and give encouragement! I'm on every day :)
  • Feel free to add me, as well. I'm doing this to avoid knee replacement on one and possible surgery on the other. I understand the lack of support in the home, too. Seems to be a good group here and it helps seeing other people have (and overcome or pick up from) the same issues
  • I am on the same journey! 100+ to lose. I have lost (and gained) before but this time feels different so I'm hoping this time the "lifestyle" stays changed! I have set my goal at 105, but it would be awesome if I lost 130-140. I would be happy with the 105, though. Looking to get and cheer on online friends in the same…
  • I'm 36 and have 100+ to lose as well. I have lost and gained before so I'd like to see if I can crack 200. I do find logging is very helpful and having a good reason to get out and exercise. Feel free to add me and we can commiserate :)
  • I'm with you on that. I have over 100 lbs that I want to lose and I need the support from somewhere and FB is just way too high school, full of drama and witchiness. I am looking for people who are having the same issues and who will help motivate me when chocolate is just calling my name. I found a few sites on FB that…
  • sounds like fun!
  • I'm 36, looking to lose about 110. Would love to take advantage of some of the forums and community spirit
