  • Out of curiousity, what do you do with your kefir so that you enjoy it? I've recently started making my own kefir but I'm struggling with the taste. Are you drinking it straight or adding it to something? OP, in my fridge I have kefir, milk, eggs, lots of fruit and veg, almond milk, chorizo and chicken breasts.
  • Hi, I clicked on this post straight away because I suffer with the same :) I don't know what it is, but I'm not too worried. It started happening about a year ago and I'm just guessing my stomach is just more delicate than it used to be. I can't eat a banana first thing in the morning unless I've eaten something else…
  • I just want to say, I looked at your profile pics and I think you look great and really pretty. Don't let any comments said in anger get you down. It sounds to me like he said those things because he knew how much it would hurt you and in that moment, that's what he wanted to do. Doesn't make it forgivable, but definitely…
  • thanks! Have to try this :) xxx
  • I understand, I feel the same. I wear my headphones and the music right up. I run on streets and roads so I have to pass a lot of people, some I can tell are commenting but I can't hear them so I block it out! Could they run 4 miles straight no stopping? Err, no! Today a southern electric van passed me and they stared in a…
  • I'm 5ft 4' 133 pounds. Size 10/12 uk size (also pear shaped) Small build with small boobs since breast feeding my kids I also have 2 children delivered by c section and have a small pooch ha ha I'm 31
  • Hi, I have lost almost 2 stone eating back my exercise calories. I have programmed it to know that I exercise 3 times a week. After what you said, I took the exercise out of my goals to see how it changed my calorie intake. Not the slightest difference. Therefore, I will continue to eat back my exercise calories. I have…
  • I have a three year old daughter and a two year old son. I change what exercise I am doing depending on the moods of my children. They rarely nap. Sometimes I do jillian michaels ripped in 30 as the workouts are only 20 minutes long. Sometimes if they are tired and just need to chill out I'll do free running on the wii fit…
  • MFP set me at 1250 to lose a lb a week but I only had 7 pounds left to lose. 1200 is hard I think. I had to set mine at half lb a week in the end because it was just too difficult for me and I started to binge. That gave me 1530 calories a day, much better for me. What do you eat for breakfast? X
  • Hiya, what's your ideal weight? How many calories does MFP say you need to eat a day to lose a pound a week.? It's crap when you can't find the right menu. I find evening times my worse point of the day, I can be good all day but I struggle in the evening. For me, I find it hard to keep to a certain amount of calories so I…
  • You're doing great. Souns like you're at the same point as me. I've lost two stone after having my son and have another half stone to go and will it shift? MFP set my calorie goal at 1250 without exercise calories, to lose a pound a week but i still couldn't lose the weight and the calorie amount was making me miserable…
  • I agree with ramgi. I think the lady just wanted to have a vent, whether her ideas about weight loss were correct or not. I don't think the sarcastic and unsupportive comments were what this site intended to promote. Instead of the frosty or downright nasty replies, surely someone could have just offered some support and…
  • Hi, I'm English too but have recently discovered that I don't mind running in any weather, its just so nice to be outside, on my own without my two toddlers. At the moment, with the evenings being lighter, I go once they are in bed at 7pm. I would never have believed I would enjoy running but I think the lack of 'me time'…
  • Just checked out the currency converter and the prices for food in Australia seem very similar to England. I find it hard to keep the food bills down and to eat healthy. The more healthy foods I put in my trolley, the higher my bill but with two toddlers too, I can't afford to scrimp on good quality food. A box of 6 eggs…
  • Definitely a compliment! It would feel strange though, knowing you were the other person they were talking about. I say you should be very pleased with yourself. You are eye candy now!!!! x
  • I have lost 24 lbs and have a little bit left to go. I have done it all using MFP and very happy! x
  • i have one week left of the ripped in 30 dvd. I thought that after I'd finished the final week I would probably do it twice a week, randomly picking the workouts, to make room for other exercise on the other days. I have a two yr old and a 1 yr old so exercise has to be quick and effective. I am not far off my target…
  • That is an amazing story, you should be so proud x
  • Just to add, my doc didnt have a positive view about the acupunture, I did that off my own back when I got frustrated. My doc thought it was a waste of time! I had the last laugh on that one. x
  • I agree with the above post. I know a fair amount about this because I had trouble with irregular periods for ages. It is linked to the rise and fall of certain hormones in your nody, triggered by events such as ovulation. If you're thinking about children, you need to be more persistent with your doctor because your…
  • mine was realising that I couldnt get away with wearing my maternity cothes forever! I had to either lose the weight or accept the fact that I was now a bigger girl and buy new clothes to fit. I didnt have loads to lose (about 2 stone) but it was pretty clear 6 onths after having my baby that the fat wasnt going anywhere…
  • Hiya, Im from Uk too and I also wanted workout with more focus on lower body. I bought box set of Jillian Michael's ripped in 30 and Killer buns and thighs and am on wk 2 of ripped in 30. I'm very impressed with results so far, and my lower body has changed a lot. I bought them off amazon - £15.99, great value for Money. X
  • I started it last week, I just did day one of week 2. I am so pleased with the results so far. I have had 2 c sections in the last three years and my stomach muscles have really suffered from that. Both me and my fiancee have noticed the change in my stomach, I have definate abs!! Todays workout was a lot harder but i cant…
  • Thats right. My calorie counter says I need to eat 1290 calories a day to lose a pound a week. I exercise so I can eat more! I do for example 45 minutes of zumba and that allows me an extra 360 calories to eat. Its working so far and I have 9 pounds left to lose. Sarah xxx
  • If I had the money, I'd love to go to the gym again. I like the whole going off to the gym thing. But at the moment I have a 21 month old and a 7 month old and I am at home all the time with them. When they are old enough to go to playschool etc I will be going back to work and so witll afford the gym again! In the…
  • Hi, I just got to say that I use the Wii fit too. I have two children under 2 and fitting in exercise would be hard if I didn't use the Wii fit as they are always with me. It may not be the most efficient workout in the world, but it works for time-poor people like me. I basically watch what I eat and try and stay within…
