I am doing chiropractic therapy along with stretching the calf, Hams, ankles and it's helped immensely

Ok. Good to know. This past weekend I was on a girls weekend and my girlfriend and my sis were complaining how warm it was in the room and I'm in a sweatshirt and sweat pants curling up under covers as I was freezing. They thought I was getting sick but I feel totally fine....now I can tell them-Hormones! :-)

Started today! Ugh!

I am doing Jamie Easons Live Fit. Not following her eating plan but counting my macros and I am seeing results!
-
I have the Charge HR and I still have people tell me it could be reporting too low......its got to be close tho!
-
The first two days were okay, the last two days I've gone over on my fats. :-(
-
Yes, I started on 12/26.

@ambsnic17--you said the Fitbit gave you really low estimates...can I ask which device you had? I have the CHARGE HR. I feel I get better estimates on this that I did with the Fitbit One.
-
@ambsnic17-next week I start my cut, -I will stil have carbs, just limited, portioned. Its gonna suck but I know in the long run, that's how my body reacts best. Time will tell. :-)
-
@ambsnic17 I am finding I am the same exact way. My body is becoming very carb sensitive, like you said, I am focusing more on proteins and healthy carbs (veggies and fruit), and then limiting the starchy carbs as they kill me on the scale! YUCKO!
-
I was going to ask the same thing....hunger pains like that....from what I've read is your metabolism revving up and asking to be fed...??
-
Great Job Kim! Way to keep at it!! Your truly and inspriration!!!

How has the carb reducing gone? My first day of reducing my carbs (my sodium was high though), and my scale flung up two pounds--darn water weight! That is something I'm struggling with too--water weight from stress and sodium. I'm focusing on my protein and my carbs this week to see where it gets me. Thanks for your…

May of 2014 (partial)...about six months after I put on 13lbs without changing diet or exercise.

I strength train at home. I use a weight machine, dumbells, step, tubes, etc. Check out www.dumbbell-exercises.com

I'm new to this too. Just started last week. Tracking here and also on a new app called MyMacro+ to compare. I find on the other app I'm more worried about the macro's and on this app I focus too much on the calories. Just doing both now to see what will work best for me. I had a successful week last week. Dropped 1.6lbs.

I still have 25lbs to lose and I don't have a time frame... The slower the better.....I plan to eat at cut for about four weeks then at maintenance for a week or two then cut again....
-
Have you input your new numbers since your weightloss? What activity level did you select? Maybe you need to adjust your macros or take a diet/exercise break and eat at maintenance for a week or two???!

Hi Ladies @Kim55555, yes, I put on 6lbs while doing my reset. It was quite disheartening. Loved that article you posted above. So true. I'm now eating between 2150-2200 calories--my body seemed to settle at 2400 calories. I'm now doing strength training 3x a week, and on my off days I'm "Attempting" to get 10K steps in.…

Hi Ladies! Just thought I'd bop in and say hi. A little update: For two years I was struggling to eat less and not lose weight (a few pounds here and gain them back). Well I found out I was eating way more than a 15% deficit so my body was fighting me to hold on to everything. So I started a metabolism reset in July--and…
-
Good Luck!! I'm right there with you. I've gained 6lbs on my reset, was freaking out the first 4 weeks, and Just yesterday it hit me, I was like, meh, I could care less about doing a cut now. I could probably eat another month at TDEE and be ok with this. I'm more worried about how hungry I'll be during the cut, not…
-
Me! I'm in the process of doing a metabolism reset. I need to find my TDEE and then letting my metabolism repair to do a cut. I was eating at too big of a deficit I found out; and my body adapted to it, and it wouldn't let me lose. It hung on to everything and even gained. I will be doing 3 days of strength training and…

It was a Friday eat out, I had upped my cals a 150 that week, so I had gone over another 200 that night... Fluids, high sodium, bloating, hormones that week......it was rough! But I stuck it out and now its all down. Thank goodness!!
-
I upped my cals on June 1st and gaine a bit over 6 pounds. It took well over a week for it to settle down
-
I'm not expert at this, as I'm still learning to trust this process...HOWEVER, I'm learning that my fitbit could be underestimating my calorie burn- Just something to consider. :-) Great job on upping your cals!

You say you have a fit bit what is the estimated TDEE its giving you?
