Liift4?
Good morning. Upped my calories this week and I can't get over how well I feel. Slept through the night one night-dropped a half a pound too. Curious if anyone one here has used Liift4 workout in conjunction with this way/lifestyle of eating?

COLD a lot vs Hot Flashes
Hello! I am in perimenopause, I had a partial hysto done in May of 2014. Just recently, I've been finding myself really cold at times. Times when my friends are complaining the room is so warm, and at night, I need more blankets at bed time, and our house temp is set comfortably enough for my husband to walk around in his…

Exercise - TDEE- bunch of questions....
Hi Ladies. I'm a 46 year old mom of two teenagers. I'm very active. I work out to T25 videos twice a week and weight lift twice a week. I used to do more but my dietician and others told me it was too much stress on my body. In between that I have a sit down/desk job. After work I'm always on the move, cleaning, laundry,…

carbs and workouts
Hi ladies I'm a year and half post partial hysterectomy (age=46), gained 13 pounds while exercising 6 days a week and not changing my diet. (SIGH)!! My doc sent me to a dietician. I was doing T25 workouts (high intense cardio with some days that included body weight strength training or use of weights). She said at my age…

Starting Strength
Hello. New to the group. Lame question...but a bit of info first. At the beginning of June I decided to get back into lifting. I have a gym at my work that has dumbbells and a weight machine type thing. No bar, or weight bench to do compound type lifting. I found an app that shows different dumbbell movements I can use and…

Fitbit Charge HR and Accuracy = FABULOUS!!
Hello all. I have had my Fitbit Charge HR for a close to a month now. I've been logging all my own data (calories eaten, fitbit burn, weight, etc.). In last couple of weeks I've lost 2.8 lbs. I took that weight loss and figured out my ACTUAL TDEE and compared it to my FITBIT TDEE--my actual was only 61 calories higher.…

Charge HR-mileage question
I am on my 2nd week of using my Charge HR. I left my stride amounts in my account when I switched from my Fitbit One to the Charge HR. I've tested it out on the treadmill walking 1mile-gives me 1 mile....now when I use my Phone and Use the RunKeeper app/GPS, it tells me I went two miles--but my fitbit says 1.6...is that…

Fitbit is "looking"
Hey all - I looked on the fitbit web site and followed steps to get my fitbit to reset...but nothing is working. When I got on my iphone5S, and go to my fitbit it says its "looking" for my fitbit. If I try to manually sync it nothing happens. So this morning, I went to my PC and put my fitbit right by my dongle and it said…

calories
Hi All I'm so terrible with this. I do not follow the T25 guide lines of eating 1600 calories. I know-shame on me! I have a fitbit one and use an HRM. My average calorie burn from these T25 workouts are anywhere from 225-300 calories, and I do these work outs six days a week, manually logging the workouts burned by my HRM…

T-25 Calorie question
Hi all I've searched and I haven't found this question/answer so I apologize if I'm duplicating...I'm hoping to start T-25 next week. I've gone through the materials and did the little assessment. It tells me I should consume 1600 calories. Using MFP-and if I record my T-25 work out using my heart rate monitor for calories…

Starting Over - New Beginning- no so fun!
Hi All--this is just a vent... I've been on this site off and on for about a year, half heatedly dedicating myself to this weight loss goal of mine. I've tried the TDEE-% and because my activity is so variable I had a hard time figuring out what my eating goal should be...so I gave up on that....I never knew what activity…

What have you learned from eating TDEE - % ?
I've been eating TDEE-% and seeing some small successes. I love hearing about success stories but sometimes you don't always hear about what people have learned along the way with eating this particular way. Things they discovered as they began trusting the process. So with that, share what you've learned. What did you…

Squat - not progressing
I've been doing the strong lifts 5x5 for a few weeks now, I've progressed in all areas but the squat. I'm trying so hard to get it down and finally, I think I got it, but I'm nervous to start adding weight. Is it okay to keep doing the squats with the olympic bar for a while to get that comfort level done???

Squats and leaning forward

TDEE/Fitbit/Daily Calorie intake
I broke down and got myself a FITBIT. I love it and don't get anywhere with out. I'm finding my average daily calorie burn is an average of 2400 calories for 24hours. My TDEE on these online calculators calculate anywhere from 1577 to 1927--so I'm burning way more than it predicted for me. My weight is 194, I'm 5'…

Question/Confusion on Net Calories & BMR
Hi all I ran some reports under the report tab today and was shocked to see I was not eating at least my BMR. My net calories showed WAY under my BMR. I set my daily calorie goal to be 1570 (which is my BMR) and eat back most of my exercise calories. I have a fitbit and my average burn is about 2400 calories per day. My…

For those who lift and are losing inches.....
For those of you who are lifting and losing inches (or weight), can I ask, do you mainly focus on proteins as a base of your diet (reducing carb intake)? I keep reading things about lifting and making sure you eat enough protein? Right now I lift for 30-45 minutes 3x a week and I do a lot of walking and maybe will run on…
